Dear Joshua,

I know that imagination is important for maintaining a good vibration, and in that way the higher self works instead of the mind. – that is one thing. The other thing is that we can shift from one reality to another. My question is – I’m at a cross roads now.

I just let go of something (a man) I thought I really wanted and it turned out I didn’t. I think I’m happy, there is no void, and I don’t think I want anyone instead. The problem is I don’t know what I want now. For so many years I’ve been trying to get him and now I want nothing and I really feel free. This freedom I wanted so much is starting to make me nervous because I am 37 and feel and look like 18. There is a part of me that wants a relationship, but it’s hard for me to imagine it.

Until now, I saw myself with him, but I don’t want him anymore and there is no one else to imagine myself with. I’m afraid I will not get married because I don’t even care about it. I cant even see myself in a wedding dress, but I do want a relationship. So, while I was into that guy, I also wanted to be rich and successful and many more things. But now I don’t want all that. I try to convince my self I do – but I can’t because I don’t. I try to picture myself in a big house, but it seems stupid to me. The only things I enjoy these days are swimming and sleeping and driving. It’s like I threw all my wants away and I’m left with no wants.

I don’t know what I want. Actually, I want nothing, but I think I should. My question is – if I don’t know what I want, then is it possible for me to shift to another reality? I don’t know what to be focused on? I just wanted to be sure. As I was saying in the beginning, the first thing is to let the imagination tell us what we want, but I don’t know what to image anymore). I am looking for your guidance.

Dear Shira,

Could it be that you have already shifted into the reality you prefer? Maybe you have moved from the reality of chasing after things your society judged as good and now you are moving into a reality where you alone judge what is preferred based on who you really are. You cannot know what you truly want until you know who you truly are.

Imagine that you came to this reality in the incarnation of Shira with an idea for certain aspects of physical reality that you wanted to explore. You could have chosen any body to be born into. You could have chosen any parents and family to be born into. You could have chosen any time and place to be born into. There were billions of possibilities, but you chose to be Shira. You knew that this choice would provide the trajectory for what you wanted to explore this time around.

So you chose to be you. You chose your parents and the time and place of your birth. Why? Why would you choose all that? How does this choice you made help you to discover certain unique aspects of physical reality? This is where you can start to use your imagination.

You intended many things prior to being born. You intended to experience joy. Are you experiencing joy? You intended to experience freedom, love and abundance. Are you experiencing those things? There is also something more specific for you to experience. Have you found that thing? The specific experience or aspect of reality that you came here to explore can be found in your interests and passions. What are you interested in? What are you passionate about? Forget about what society thinks of your interests. Forget about what society thinks is interesting. What are you excited about? What are you curious about? What do you like to do?

You have finally come to a place where you can start thinking about what you want from a place of neutrality. You are finally on firm ground. You can give up the desires that did not inspire you. You can move toward what you want without demanding that society judge it as proper, or right, or normal. Start thinking about what you liked to do as a child. Go back to childish interests and pleasures. What were you interested in back then? Start there and you will be led to where you want to go.

When you think of having a relationship, why do you want it? Do you want someone who will love you and validate your worthiness? If someone where to love you, would that make you feel good? Think about feeling good first, think about feeling worthy first, think about loving someone because you want to give love not get love. Then you will be ready. Until you do not care whether the other loves you back, you cannot truly love another. Until you love yourself above all, you cannot truly receive love in return.

Now use your imagination to picture a life full of interests. Imagine what you would be doing right now if you were blissfully pursuing something you loved. Imagine being totally fascinated by something. This is what you seek. Start following something that interests you. Don’t worry about where it takes you. You will be led, step by step, by the Law of Attraction and you will be guided by your inner self every step of the way. It is a good thing that you have given up your interests in that which man considers worthy. You must find what is right for Shira. Shira came here with purpose. Now find that purpose.

You are loved more than you can imagine by more than you could ever count.
