Dear Joshua,

I have always been a little bit of a worrier. I used to worry about what people think of me, but now not so much. I used to worry about getting my parents’ approval, but now I don’t care. The only thing is, now my worries seem to have taken on a new form and I find myself with big anxiety issues. I get panic attacks over what some people consider the smallest of problems. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks
Duchess

Dear Duchess,

You are not doing anything wrong. It’s simply that you are trying to picture what cannot be pictured from your limited perspective. When things seem like a problem, when they seem like an issue for you, then you project an outcome that seems to follow along to the eventual unfolding of the problem to the worst possible scenario.. This is simply a very common habit of thought and most people experience the same thing to various degrees. There’s nothing for you to worry about, all you need to do is retrain your brain.

What we are about to tell you is something new for you, but we think you are ready to hear it and once you understand how this works, you’ll feel better. You do not think thoughts, you do not create thoughts in your mind, your brain does not come up with ideas, you attract thoughts. Your brain is like a radio receiver. You attract and send thoughts based on your vibration.

You already know how to shift your vibration so that your receiver changes channels and you can do this quite easily. Think of a volcano erupting on a village. Now think of a bright yellow hummingbird drinking the nectar from a bright red flower. All you did was change the channel in your head from the unpleasant thought of the volcano erupting to the pleasant thought of the hummingbird. You did this by altering your vibration ever so slightly and you can do it anytime you wish. All you need to do is practice changing channels. Your habit of vibration is to return to the old, unpleasant channel. But, if you practice changing the channel to something nicer every time you notice you’re on a channel you don’t like, you’ll get better and better at finding and staying on channels you do like.

The trick is to find the good channels first so that you know how to find them in the moment you need them. It’s not a difficult task we ask you to perform, but it is a very important one. You see there is some momentum with your habit of thought (it’s really a habit of vibration manifested into thought). As you continue to think worrisome thoughts, they tend to get more intense. The opposite is also true. As you think pleasant thoughts, they tend to become even nicer.

You were never told that your thoughts are received and not created. You were never taught to seek pleasant thoughts. You weren’t even taught how to feel good. So now you must start learning how to adjust your vibration so that pleasant thoughts come. Now you must learn how to tune out influencers that cause you to stop on unpleasant channels. Now you must start meditating a little every day so that you can start to slow the flow of your thoughts. Now you must be picky about what you read, what you watch, and who you talk to.

Some people enjoy the drama of life and to feel anxious is to feel alive. Some people might think that pleasant thoughts are boring and they believe they must follow the news to keep informed. However, their thoughts represent the first manifestation of their vibration. If unwanted thoughts are coming, then unwanted physical or environmental conditions could be the next thing that manifests.

How you feel is important. Feeling good allows for well-being to flow. You have the power and the ability right now to control how you feel and what thoughts come to you. You can learn more about how reality works and why your thoughts are so important. You can choose to feel good or you can let yourself go on and believe that life is random and you have no control. We hope you’ll choose to believe that you are the creator of your life and you can create anything you want as long as you learn how this system of physical reality really works.

You are loved more than you can imagine.

Joshua
