Dear Joshua,

Listening back to our last Joshua Live, you said a couple of things that I would like you to elaborate on:

First you mentioned ~ regarding migraines ~ to make the migraines go away one would have to experience the things they don't want to like facing their fears and letting go of the resistance. The migraines allow them to escape ~ have an excuse.

Will they go away when I deal with these fears or how do I go about dealing with the things I don't want to do (or don't want to happen - like boys growing up - business changes- money loss)? I have no control over the past and I am understanding more and more each day what these negative emotions and manifestations (migraines) mean. Am I understanding that once I release the resistance to all that is, that the migraines will dissipate?

Secondly, you told Kate to make what she is doing now fun first. Does that mean I should go back into real estate and try to make it fun? Do I have to do this before I can move on to something else? Thinking about finding my passion and the things I have done in the past, it almost seems like to go back to one of these things would be going backwards. I'm thinking maybe I could tweak it a bit or try a different approach? I don't feel inspired to go back to real estate, but am I just giving into fears?

Dear Wendy,

When you look back at your past and feel regret, it is a negative emotion which does not align with how your inner self sees the same event. You see it as a bad thing, but your inner self sees it as a good thing. You believe that your life would have been better if something happened differently than it did. But this limited perception of the past goes against every law of the universe. It simply does not work like this. It is an illusion. If something happened to you, then it happened for you. That's it. That's all you need to know. You must begin to perceive life in this new way. Everything is always working out for you. Just because you don't think it is, doesn't make that fact any less valid. Your life turned out better because of what happened. That is the truth of the matter.

You are using your imagination to believe that something wrong happened when in fact something perfect happened. You can't know how things would have unfolded if your past was different than it is. You're making it all up. Your past unfolded perfectly to bring you to the place you are now. Had it happened differently, you would not be here now. We can assure you of that.

So everything you did in the past was perfect. Also, everything that everyone else did in your past was perfect too. It was all done for you, not too you. If you believe that someone did something wrong or bad, well you just aren't understanding the perfection of the system. Everything happened perfectly for everyone involved, even if it seems like it wasn't a good thing. Everything is always working out for everyone, one way or another. All you are doing is resisting what has already happened.

The first sign of resistance is a nonphysical notification in the form of negative emotion. As soon as you notice negative emotion, you are being alerted to your resistance of the matter. The message you are being given is that you are in a state of resistance and in this state, what you want cannot manifest. So please stop resisting. Start allowing. You think it's wrong, but that is an opinion created out of fear and a limited perspective. It is all happening perfectly.

If you ignore negative emotion, then the universe must alert you some other way. The easiest way is by creating an unwanted bodily condition. Maybe it's a cold or a headache. Maybe you will receive notification in the form of a sore, a pimple, or a rash. Maybe it might be something more noticeable like a broken leg or a disease. Either way, the universe must get your attention somehow.

Why does the universe want you to know that you are being resistant? Because you have asked for something and in this reality, the universe must deliver it. You must be changed from who you are now to the version of you that is ready to receive that which you desire. You must be given the opportunity to adjust your set of beliefs. It is the limiting beliefs that keep you in a state of resistance. The limiting beliefs are based in fear. In order to alter those beliefs, you must prove that they are irrational and false. The easiest way to do this is to go through an event which tests those beliefs.

You see, you've adopted most of your fears second hand. You do not have any first hand experience, but you cling to these limiting beliefs. You think they are fact when in reality, they are fiction. The fears are false. They are irrational. They do not serve you. You must reduce their intensity in order to receive what you have already asked for.

You are placed in a manifestation event and you choose to cling to your limiting beliefs rather than analyze the fear at the base of those beliefs. Why is this? Because you have not be told that these fears are irrational and therefore false and that you must analyze them and determine if they apply to you. If they do, well then that is fine. However, if these fears were given to you by someone else and they do not apply to you, then you must prove to yourself that they are indeed false.

If you think anything is wrong, then you are afraid of it. If you think anything is bad, then you have some fear about it. If you think something is good and right, then you are aligned with the best of it. Stop believing things are wrong and accept that everything is right, even if it might not be right for you. This is the art of allowing.

When you feel negative emotion of any kind, no matter how insignificant, think about it. Understand that you are looking at it from a limited perspective. Choose a new perspective. Is that better? If so, you've done your work. If you feel better, then that was what what necessary in the moment to bring you out of resistance. If you go further and analyze the fear, finding proof that it is false, you have just reduced the intensity of that fear and you've released the negative emotion.

If you can come to a place where you are encountering negative emotion and actively engaging it to understand why your perspective is different than your inner self's perspective, you are moving into the state of allowing. When this becomes a consistent habit, the universe will recognize that you are finally receptive to the notifications received through negative emotion. It will no longer be necessary to deliver you notifications in a physical form.

Of course, there is some momentum here. You will need a bit of time and practice in becoming an allower. We don't want you to adopt this new approach to life just so you can get rid of the migraines. We want the easing of the physical conditions to be a side effect of living life in a new way by choosing the higher perspective from the start. Nothing is wrong with migraines or any other physical notification of resistance. They are gifts from the universe. They are messages of love. They don't feel good, we understand, but they certainly get your attention, don't they? Without the migraines, you might not have entered into this conversation with us.
