Wendy Question #46

Dear Joshua,

I still look around at all the stuff I "should be doing" – from stuff around the house to working and I'm not inspired to do any of it. I'm getting better at being lazy. I have much momentum built up opposing this. I realize I have a resistance to allowing what I really want.

I am slowly letting go of limiting beliefs as they come up - I identify them – identify the fear – prove it false – and have faith in the process. I never really understood faith in the spiritual sense until now.

I have been catching glimpses of images/feelings - I can't hold onto the image long enough to understand it. The essence of it feels like what I want, but I can't grab it. Like when I notice it - it disappears. Does this mean I am getting closer to the vibration of knowing what I want? Of knowing the feeling of finding my passion?

With Love and Gratitude

Dear Wendy,

As you are changing your approach to life from one of doing and efforting and seeing things as wrong, to one of allowing and easing and seeing things as right, you are raising your vibration. Your passion is there. It's right in front of you. You just can't see it because you're not a vibrational match to it yet. But you are getting closer and closer. There is no rush. When you are ready (and not before), it will be revealed to you.

If we were to tell you what your passion is right now, you would not be ready for it. You would not think it is right. You would not think you could do it well enough. The fear would be strong around it. You have to make your way to what it is you want to do vibrationally. This is true of every manifestation.

However, you can think about things now. Think about things that interest you. Explore. Sift and sort. By doing this, you raise your vibration. By maintaining a good mood and a positive mental state, you become more receptive to inspiration.

On another note, how do you know that the idea to do stuff around the house is not inspiration? You receive a thought. It could be a habit of thought or it could be inspiration. What makes you think it isn't? Is it because you feel a little fear when it arrives. That's inspiration. Why not practice receiving ideas and just following through, whatever the idea is, regardless of the fear.

Sit and think now. What do you want to do? What thought comes to mind? Write it down. Now write down why you feel you don't want to do it. Is it because of something valid or is it just fear? If it's fear, analyze it. Is it real or is the fear irrational? If it is irrational, then just do whatever the action is that corresponds to the idea. Follow it with curiosity and detachment to an outcome and just see where it leads. If you are open, curious, and receptive, it will lead to something else. We promise.

With our love,
We are Joshua
