Wendy Question #25

Dear Joshua,

Reading your book ~ A Radical Change ~ I am curious about something. In the chapter on Love, you wrote to love the thing (situation, person, etc.) as it is in the moment and still have preferences as to what I would prefer. Using my kitchen as an example, will you please walk me through this process?

With Love and Gratitude
~ Wendy

Dear Wendy,

I love my kitchen. It is a wonderful place. I get to create wonderful meals. I get to store everything I need. I love how functional it is. I am so fortunate to have a kitchen as wonderful as this kitchen. Can you imagine how many people all over the world would be so excited to have a kitchen a big and fully equipped as this kitchen? It is a very good kitchen indeed.

I see this kitchen in this magazine and I think it's beautiful. I really adore my friend's kitchen. I love watching shows where they renovate the kitchen. I love this backsplash. Isn't that pantry nice? I like granite counters and quartz too. I wonder which one I would like more? It think I'm into light colored cabinets now. Maybe one day I'll enjoy the feeling of new cabinets. Wouldn't that be nice? I think I'm going to make a vision board of all the things I like in my future kitchen. When it's ready to come, it will come. Until then I am still so fortunate to have such a nice kitchen.

Joshua
