Wendy Question #10

Dear Joshua,

I've been reading the new book and going back through your answers to my questions. A common thread is: Feel good first, learn to feel good, find your joy, and relinquish control. This is all well and good ~ but what if I have forgotten how to do some of this? I've been shut down for so long, I'm not even sure what makes me happy. Where do I find my joy?

When I think about this, I get a queasy feeling in my stomach. You told me it is time for me to embrace who I am ~ who am I? I understand I am pure positive energy and love ~ how do I incorporate that into the physical world? I reach for better thoughts ~ how do I reach for better feelings? How do I allow inspiration? What do you mean by ease into the flow of life? Will you suggest a direction for me to head into?

With Love and Gratitude
~ Wendy

Dear Wendy,

We want to start off by saying that physical reality was created for your personal benefit. It is a playground and life is a game. It is supposed to be fun, interesting, and expansive. Expansion can be done in joy. Expansion often comes out of contrast, but contrast does not have to be a bad thing. Nothing serious is going on here. You are involved in an elaborate illusion. Seeing the world as difficult and heavy is just one way to look at it. We want to show you another side of life. We want to explain another approach to living in physical reality. Once you see that it can all be fun, it will be easier for you. As soon as you realize that you are looking at life from a perspective that is a bit off, you will see how easy the world really is. It's just a game.

You existed in the nonphysical realm prior to embarking on this journey as Wendy. Part of you exists there now. You are simultaneously living this life fully consumed by physical reality and all that that entails, and also you remain stationed in the nonphysical realm. We call the part of you that remains in the nonphysical your inner self. Your inner self is always with you in every moment living life through you, hearing every thought, and knowing exactly what you want. Your inner self is guiding you to what you want. Your inner self is constantly communicating with you. Once you learn to slow your thoughts and learn how to analyze them, you'll begin to hear the guidance that comes from your inner self.

Your inner self is fully aware of the intentions you set prior to coming here and living this life. You intended to explore reality in a unique way. Most of your intentions were general: to love and be loved, to be free, to have fun, to be abundant, to experience joy, and many other such intentions. One or more of your intentions was more specific. You came here to explore specific aspects of physical reality. When you find out who you are and what your passions are, and then pursue these passions, your specific intentions will become more obvious to you. You are on a path to finding who you really are and what you really want. Where you are now is the perfect place to start.

You've lived life in a mostly resistant way. As you read our words, meditate, and learn to feel your way around your inner world (the world of your thoughts, beliefs, feelings, ideas, imagination, etc.) you will learn to live a life which is based on allowing. Soon you will start to understand that everything happens for you, and nothing happens to you. Soon you will learn to deal with your negative emotions. You will learn that your emotions are simply a form of guidance. Soon you will learn to alter your limiting beliefs. You have a set of limiting beliefs that you believe are true, but they are not. Soon you will learn how to reduce the intensity of those beliefs.

You have desires even though you might not be able to articulate them right now. Your desires are fully communicated through your vibration. You do not need to articulate them, you just need to allow the universe to bring them to you. The universe will help you change your set of beliefs if you will allow it. Allowing is key. Going with the flow of life is key. Resisting "what is" by calling something bad or wrong is causing this feeling of being stuck.

Here's what we would like you to imagine. Imagine that you have a limiting belief about something. In order for you to get what you want, this belief must be altered in such a way that you have a completely different belief. What you want does not exist in your life now because you have a set of limiting beliefs which prevent your vibration from attracting that thing into your life. If it does not exist in your life now, you are simply not a vibrational match to it. Your vibration is made up from your beliefs, expectations, feelings, attitudes, and chronic thoughts. Change these things and your vibration changes. When you shift your beliefs to incorporate more beneficial beliefs and less intense limiting beliefs, your world automatically changes to reflect your new set of beliefs. Your outer world is nothing more than a reflection of your inner world.

But just how does one change one's set of beliefs? How do you even identify a limiting belief? When you feel negative emotion, you've uncovered a limiting belief. The moment you feel any negative emotion, whether it's big or small, you've entered what we call a manifestation event. The event was orchestrated by the universe for the purpose of helping you to identify and deal with a limiting belief. If you feel emotion, you're in a manifestation event. The event is a gift from the universe, however, because you feel negative emotion, you quickly judge the event and those people involved in the event as wrong or bad. It is not and they are not. Judging something as wrong or bad is resistance. If it is happening, then it is happening explicitly for you. It is an opportunity for you to stop, analyze the reason you feel bad, realize the reason has to do with a fear, prove to yourself that the fear is irrational and therefore false, and then realize that this belief is simply not empowering. You can reduce the intensity of it so that it no longer influences your vibration.

You can have, be, and do anything in this reality. This is the way you do it. This is how you create your reality. You can look at something and believe that it is bad, or you can find a way to see how it is right. If you judge things as bad or wrong, you are living a life of resistance. If you actively seek to see how something could be right, you are living life as an allower. Which approach to life would be easier for you? This is not an easy question. You have been living the resistant life for so long. Those around you live the resistant life as well. You have at least one example of someone who is approaching life as an allower, so how do you feel about him? Can you be more like him and less like everyone else? Is Steve's approach to life one you could follow?

Feeling good is the most important thing for you to do right now. In order to feel good, you must stop your judgment and criticism. You must look for the positive aspect in everything and everyone. You must allow for everyone to be right, even if you happen to disagree. Why disagree? Why not agree? Why be attached to your own limitations? Why not free yourself from all limitations?

You cannot know what you want because you have judgments around all of it. If you get an idea, you quickly discount it as not being practical, possible, or even enjoyable. Yet, if you receive an idea, and you were in a positive emotional state of being, then that idea is worth pursuing because it will lead to a new thought and a new idea. Follow the thread of interest and see where it leads. Do not talk yourself out of anything. Just go with it. You have nothing to lose. Soon one thing will lead to the next and suddenly you'll find yourself involved with something you never imagined.

Until that time comes, practice feeling good. Do more of what you want to do and much less of whatever it is you do not want to do. Don't feel guilty about this. Nothing is more important for you at this time. If you want to watch TV, watch TV. Nothing is wrong with that. If you want to take a nap, take a nap. That is an excellent idea. If you want to go for a walk, have lunch with a friend, see a movie by yourself, ride a bike, take a drive, or anything else, just do that. Do what you want to do in the moment and push through any self-imposed feelings of resistance or fear.

Once you feel better, you will start to notice negative emotion. Negative emotion is with you quite a lot. You are feeling the dullness of comprehensive and consuming negative emotion. It all stems from fear and it's all false. We're not saying that it's not valid, it's just that it's irrational and can be dealt with if you will take the effort to analyze it. Forget about your past. It was perfect because it brought you here and now you are on the brink of something so big that you could not have found your way here without the past that led you here.

Forgive those who you resent. Forgive yourself and release your regrets. You took the right path and made all the right decisions. See your life as one that has unfolded perfectly to bring you here.

Do whatever it takes to feel better. Demand to feel good. Appreciate what you have now. Be grateful for everything you have and for who you are now. Live in anticipation for what is to come. This is an exciting time. There is no rush. We are taking small steps together. This is a process and during the next few months we want you to immerse yourself in the process. This time is for you. This is all for you. Those around you will be happy to see you feeling good again. They will be inspired by you. You will inspire so many others you cannot even imagine it. The you who will emerge at the end of this program will be quite different from the you you know now.

We would like you to buy a journal and record every negative emotion you feel in a day. We would like you to pick one and write to us about the manifestation event that occurred. It should not be a big one, it should be small. Maybe your husband said something and you reacted. Write about something like that. Tell us a specific story in detail and we will help you analyze the fear at the base of it.

You are loved more than you can imagine and support by more than you could ever count. That should make you feel good.

Joshua
