Steve Question #88

Dear Joshua,

I've heard of the concepts of old and young souls. If we are eternal, how can this be? Wouldn't we all just have always "been" and therefore all the same relative age? Or does it have more to do where the soul is on the evolutionary scale and some souls evolve at different rates?

The reason I ask this is because I just ordered my "Michael Chart" which is created by someone who channels a group called Michael. Supposed to give a lot of information about your soul and this particular lifetime motivations/challenges. It sounded interesting. I imagine it doesn't really matter what comes back or if it's even true. What matters is how I interpret the data coming back to me and be positive and fun. Do you have an opinion regarding Michael Charts?

Thanks!
Steve

Dear Steve,

Since there is no such thing as time in the nonphysical. It is a construct of physical reality so there can be no young or old anything in the nonphysical realm. However, we must use your concept of reality when we discuss the nonphysical because it is easier for you to understand. Soul is a word, like God, which people have different beliefs around and so we do not use such words. However, for the purposes of this very general conversation we will use that word to describe this concept.

You, in your physical life, are on a journey to become more of who your really are. This is a never-ending journey of expansion and you will never reach who you really are because the definition of the highest you is one who is always expanding. You are on an evolutionary path of expansion and growth. As you look around at the other people on your planet, you can easily see that some are further along that path and some seem to be just starting their journey. There are also some who appear to be father along than you and there are those that appear to be just starting out, but the appearances are illusions and those you think are new to this are really quite advanced. It is never necessary for you to compare yourself to another, simply compare the version of you now to the younger version of you and you can appreciate the massive growth that has taken place.

In the nonphysical, we travel and merge and flow in groups and we do not separate ourselves. Individuality is a physical thing and is not preferred in the nonphysical. However, we are still unique and we still experience personal evolution and we are still evolving at our on speed along our unique trajectories. In the nonphysical we do not compare ourselves to others and there is no race to see who evolves the fastest. We enjoy the process of expansion and because time is not a factor, the rate of our expansion is meaningless.

In this environment, you are personally aware of your own consciousness and you are awake to the reality of this physical environment. Most others are not, however, they are still expanding their consciousness from the perspective of their personal beliefs, just as you are. You see the world from a higher perspective which creates a different (though not superior) trajectory for your expansion. A housewife living in Vermont and going to church every Sunday is also expanding within her framework of beliefs. The path you chose is right for you and the one she chose is right for her.

Knowing your soul's evolutionary path is something you are interested in and might benefit your growth and expansion as long as you allow it to release you from your limiting beliefs. However, it also has the potential to create more and deeper limiting beliefs. This is like reading your horoscope. If you take something beneficial away from it, then that is beneficial. If it reinforces a fearful belief, then that is limiting. So we would suggest that you have fun with it and maybe get some insights from it, but take it lightly. If we told you who you really were and exactly how to get there tomorrow, we would take all the fun out of the journey. All we do is share our higher perspective and let you work out how to use what we offer to your personal advantage.

Joshua
