Steve Question #49

Dear Joshua,

I bought a Harley over the weekend. It's a 2010 CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide, red and black with flames! I found this bike at a Harley dealership less than an hour away from my house. The price was amazing, the color was exactly what I wanted, the condition is near perfect and the aftermarket exhaust looks and sounds amazing. This bike pushed all the right buttons (too many to list) and I felt it was too perfect to pass up. In all my searching these past few months, nothing else came close to pushing all these buttons. So I pulled the trigger. I don't know if I was just caught up in the moment or what, but I couldn't imagine walking away from this bike. I was really soul searching and looking for a sign, any sign, that I shouldn't do this. The salespeople were nice, the test ride went perfect, it was close to my Dad's house so I could stop by on the way home (with my daughter on the back) and show him my new bike (my Dad always had motorcycles when I was growing up, I think he had a lot to do with me having interest in motorcycles) So here's my question. Did I jump the gun? Did I force this? If I go by my feelings, I wouldn't say 90% no, 10% maybe. Ultimately, everything fell into place a little too perfectly for me not to go for this...

Thanks!

Dear Steve,

Manifestations of anything occur at the right timing when universal forces line up everything you want in the most elegant way possible. When it's the manifestation of what is wanted, you'll know if the timing is right when it feels right. The more elegant the manifestation, the more obvious it will be that the timing is right.

The manifestation of your new motorcycle is a perfect example. Things lined up magnificently so that you felt that the next step was to buy this bike. In fact, it would seem strange if you didn't buy the bike when you did. It was the logical next step, and while it might have seemed like a big purchase, or a big step, in reality, it was really the most natural thing in the world. This is how you know your timing is right.

There are no coincidences in physical reality. Everything happens for a reason. When you feel that it is a coincidence that the dealer was located close to your father, this was part of the plan. When your wife and daughter came with you to buy the bike, it was part of the plan. The feeling you had that this was a good deal, that the price was right, that the features were just what you wanted, even the color, this was all part of the plan. When things just line up, it's all part of the plan.

Now, having said all of this, you had to be vibrationally in the vicinity of the manifestation for it to happen. If you were not a vibrational match to this bike, you would never have found it. Therefore, it is your vibration that matters above all. So, how did you manifest this new bike? First off, a new motorcycle is easy for you. Why? Because this is one of your passions. You are interested in motorcycles. You think about motorcycles. You read about and discuss the subject with others. Much of your time is spent on the topic.

As you became more specific about the type of motorcycle you wanted, your thoughts continued to feel good. You were mostly confident that you would find the bike you could afford. There was little fear or doubt in your thoughts. As you believed you could buy a new bike, you became vibrationally aligned with it and it easily manifested in your reality. This is how all manifestations occur.

Once you have made the decision, it is important to stand firmly behind that decision and not to contemplate any other potential decision. Leave alone thoughts of other possibilities. Once any decision is made, it's best to recognize that thoughts of other possibilities do not serve you. They only make you question your decision.

You remain a vibrational match to any decision as long as you believe it was a right one. The fact that you made the decision means you were vibrationally aligned with it at the time. You must maintain that alignment so that your decision can continue to bring you joy. The decision becomes the right or wrong one based on your judgment of it. The decision is neutral. You could not have come to the place of the decision if your were not vibrationally ready. So doubting the decision, after the fact, leads to a lower vibration which can take you out of alignment with what is wanted.

Once you come to doubt or regret a decision, you change your vibration and you become a match to something else. You may no longer be a match to what is wanted, but instead become a match to something else entirely. If you maintain your focus on the feeling of what you want, you will be guided there regardless of any past decision. All roads lead to what is wanted when you maintain your focus on that.

In this case we can feel that you know this was the right decision. You made the obvious choice. Everything lined up and it worked out perfectly. Will you want something more in the future? Undoubtably. But as long as you maintain your focus on what you want, and appreciate what you have, you will always be moving forward in joy.

Loved,
Joshua
