I'm curious as to how/why you chose the name "Joshua". Does it have something to do with Gary and his beliefs? You've mentioned before that you communicate through many other humans. Do you choose a unique name for each of them, based on their own set of beliefs?
And how come I've never heard of any nonphysical entities with female names? Are they out there and I just haven't found them because I hold a limiting belief that no one would take them seriously if they went by a female name?

The co-creative conversation we have with Gary is called "Joshua". Gary has reached a vibrational frequency that matches our own and a link has been formed. He receives our thoughts and translates them in his own words. The name Joshua fits within his set of beliefs as well as those who will resonate with our teachings as translated by Gary in his unique way.
Gary is unique as are all channels. He does not stem from the new age movement. He is not in the cultural fringe, but rather quite mainstream and perceives himself as "normal." Those who will find our teachings through Gary will feel comfortable with him and his approach. He will not seem too weird or out there. He will seem like a normal man and from that stance he'll be more approachable.
We are neither male or female, nor is our energy one that would be described as more feminine than masculine. We do not see gender, we read vibrations. We understand that gender appears to play an important role in the physical world, but the gender is just a perspective and no more or less important than any other perspective. Your culture happens to be dominated by masculinity at this time in your history and so most who will resonate with Gary will also resonate with a masculine name. The name also has some cultural qualities that allow it to be easily adopted by those in your Western society.
The name is just a label we chose carefully to represent a unique vessel containing the teachings of universal forces and the mechanism of physical reality. It suits the relationship between other teachers and the idea of The Law of Attraction as it is expanded and added to. It is the next incarnation of our teachings and there will be many more incarnations to follow.
In time, when vibrations are raised a little higher, you will hear of one or more people channeling entities with feminine-sounding names. The feminine vibration is just a little higher than the masculine. Of course you already know this, but don't tell anyone else. This will be our secret.
