Kyla Question #26

Joshua,

Has anyone asked you about Trump yet? I'm beyond interested to hear your perspective on him and the elections in general.

I have a few friends who get really worked up at even the mention of the "T" word. I feel fortunate to be almost gleefully detached from the whole thing (thanks in large part to all I've learned from you)...I guess because, as you would say, I'm choosing to view it all from the higher perspective.

It's definitely not a popular opinion, but I'm of the mind that Trump becoming president could be the best thing that's happened to our country in a long time. He could be the catalyst we need to make the leap from being a fearful society to one based in love. Maybe a huge overdose of fear would cause the US to hit rock bottom. Maybe people would finally wake up and start giving a shit.

What surprises me is that, while I feel fairly neutral towards Trump, I have some negative feelings about Hillary. It's not necessarily her policies that bother me (like they do my dad and other die-hard conservatives). It's that I feel she's totally disingenuous and lacks integrity. I would absolutely love to see a woman president, but I don't think I could ever bring myself to vote for her.

I can easily see Trump's role from the higher perspective, but I have a harder time doing so with Hillary. I can appreciate Trump's transparency about being an asshole. It just is who he is. I feel like Hillary pretends to care about the people of this country, but in all actuality she's just like every other politician -- in it for the power and for the sake of building up her ego. But I suppose the same could apply to her (and everyone else) -- she just is who she is.

Clearly I have some limiting beliefs here. Perhaps that people (i.e. Hillary) should be different than they are? Perhaps that people who I believe lack integrity are wrong? I know that neither of those is true, because everyone and everything is perfect exactly as they are, and because there is no wrong anywhere anywhere in the universe.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on all of this. Would be nice to have at least one conversation around this topic where no one leaves angry (lol).

Also -- thank you for your answer to my last question. I found it very encouraging.

With love,
Kyla

Dear Kyla,

It is interesting to watch the unfolding of an historic event right in front of your eyes. You are seeing it from a limited perspective and some parts of it may bring up a little fear. Many of those in your society are also looking at this presidential race from their own limited perspectives and the fear causes them to act in ways that are not aligned with who they are or what they want. But if you can bring yourself to look at it from the higher perspective, then you will see that everything is working out perfectly.

Your society is moving away from fear and crossing the line into love. Individually, there are more people on the love side of the line than ever before in your history. A century ago, the mass consciousness of your country was so fearful and fear-based, you would not even recognize it. You would feel uncomfortable spending an hour around the people of that time. If you can imagine what the discrimination was like and how these people thought, you could see how limited their perspectives were.

While individually, you and most of your countrymen are more love-based than fearbased, as a mass consciousness, there is still quite a lot of fear. The fear comes out as groups gather and individuals feel emboldened. They often say and do things that have been inspired from a place of fear. However, more and more people are living their own truths and are starting to see that all humans are one. When you approach your government from the position that all are part of the same Source, then you may stand together in love. When you recognize that all life on your planet is part of the One, then you can come together without the need for individual governments.

From the perspective of love, what would you want in your government? Would you want a society that helps the less fortunate and works together to create an environment of love and support, or would you prefer that everyone fends for themselves? The old paradigm that you country has expressed for a while now is that each individual must be responsible for their own life and that the weak and the lazy should not be helped. This is a fear-based approach to governing a society.

In a love-based society, would you try to annihilate your enemies with continued wars in far-off lands? Would you seek to place an incredibly large portion of your population in prison? Would you seek to close your borders? Would you dictate to your fellow man what they are allowed to do in their own homes? Would you tell them what they were allowed to do with their own bodies? These are all fear-based aspects of your present society.

As you become based in love, you will drop your borders because you realize that those who you attract to your country are a vibrational match to the vibration of your country. You will no longer place so many people in jail, rather you will aid and support them as they realign themselves with who they really are and what they really want. You will reduce your laws which are enacted to restrict the freedoms of individuals in your society. As you become more based in love, you will desire much more freedom and you will fear this freedom less. A love-based society creates a support system for all those who need some form of assistance realizing that the pain and struggle of one is the pain and struggle of all.

Your society is in the midst of a great transformation from fear to love. Many societies have already made the transition, but for them it was easier. They did not have the momentum that you have. Yours was a society built on fear and for a while it appeared as if your approach to life was superior to the majority of the world. Now you are realizing the the fear was never productive and you are understanding that your faith in your society's greatness was mostly created through the use of intense propaganda. You believed what you were told and your beliefs were strong.

The right side of your political establishment is losing ground as fear is being replaced by love. Only those living in fear could support the agenda of the right. Those who are awakening to the reality of physical reality and the laws of the universe are coming to understand that the old paradigm did not work. It did not keep you safe. It did not destroy your enemies, it only made them more prolific. It did not solve any of the problems it battled against, it only made them worse and more prominent.

We see Trump as the perfect symbol of fear and we love and adore him for that. He personally is not based in fear, yet he has been drawn into this and has adopted the role, which even to him is surprising. He never intended it to be like this, but momentum is carrying him forward. It's almost as if he has little control over what is happening. This is because it was all set up prior to his birth. Without Trump acting so obviously fearful, many Americans (and others watching around the world) would not realize how fearbased the right wing is. He is make a bold and pronounced proclamation of fear and people are recognizing it for what it is.

The ramification of this is a new look at a highly disparaged form of government. You have been fed a lot of fearful beliefs which you adopted easily. You believed that the capitalist system was superior to all other economic systems. You believed that capitalism was responsible for your growth and economic power. It had little to do with the economic system, it had to do with the empowering belief that you had the ability to do anything. Americans believe they have a birthright which says that anything is achievable. Other people living in older countries do not have this highly beneficial belief. It is this empowering belief that created your success, not your economic system. You would have done just as well within a socialist system, even if you are afraid to admit it. It is not the fear of taxation that inhibits creativity, it is the belief that it is not possible.

You have nothing to fear from Trump. He is doing more to alter the course of this country than he will ever know. He is making people think about what is important to them. He is showing everyone what fear looks like. He is moving more people away from fear and towards love than any one person in history since Hitler. And he's doing it without firing a single shot.

Do not fear Hilary either. While she has great difficulty communicating with large groups of people, she is based in love as well. She is focused on becoming president not for herself or history, but for the benefit of the country. She cannot convey that in speeches or interviews, because she is currently on the defensive. But she will make great strides on her way to the general election and the differences between love and fear will become even more obvious.

This is a time of transition and there will be a few bumps along the way as people struggle with their own fears and limiting beliefs. However, you personally can look at it all from the higher perspective. Remove yourself from the fear, watch how it all unfolds, allow everyone around you to have their own opinion, notice if they are based in love or fear, and enjoy the show. It will be one to remember.

Joshua
