Isabelle Question #20

Hi Joshua,

Thanks for the answer about our group and how we are expanding. It really is a lot of fun!! I tremendously enjoy your teachings. My friend Kimberly has been channeling a lot of beings of light, and a common theme has been stated from the beings of light, 'be in the moment'. The present moment is the most important. I can understand that focusing on the present moment will make us feel good. Also, it will allow inspiration to flow as we are not focused on the past or future. Being present allows inspiration flow and then we can take the next step.

But I sense, since time is an illusion, and we really are just moving through dimensions, how is it when we are in the moment affect other dimensions and our reality? Can you explain? I have the piece that we change a million times a second, and our vibration attracts our reality. But I sense that it is our vibration is like a ripple in the water in the universe and when we are in the moment, present time, it is important for another reason too. Does present time affect the future and past? Or it is not the past but because we are all connected and that is why it effects us all?

Gosh, whatever you can share would be helpful. Just trying to get a better understanding why present moment is so important.

With Love,
Isabelle

Dear Isabelle,

Let's imagine that you live in a natural world, free from the influences of your modern society. Imagine that you and everyone else naturally lived in the moment. What would that look like? It would be the most natural thing in the world. You would simply do that which you were inspired to do in every moment. You would be led, step by step, to the manifestation of your desires. Your desires (which are really just experiences) would unfold one right after the other.

You would not care about the past and you would never worry about the future. Why would you? The past was seen by a long-gone version of you. You have evolved since then. What happened in the past was a match to the being you were in the past. You are different now. Your vibration has risen. You realize that and when you look back at past events you do so with the knowledge that all those things that happened brought you to where you are now. You thank your past experiences, but you've moved on. You don't think about the future, because you are being led in every moment and you know that the future will unfold perfectly based on the vibration you are emitting. You spend all of your focus on the present moment and you move from feeling to feeling, relishing every new feeling that comes along. You live in a state of bliss, which is the state of allowing.

Because you live in the moment, you have access to inspiration which strikes in the moment. Timing is everything when it comes to the universe. Since you are not focused on your past or present, you are flexible and available. When you receive inspiration, you don't think about it, you act on it. In your present day life, you judge every bit of inspiration you receive. You ponder, "is this the right time? Can't it wait. I'm busy now, I'll get to that later. That sounds like a stupid idea. I am too afraid to do that. That won't work." Instead of taking the action you're inspired to take, you discard the inspiration for this reason or that.

When you live in the present moment, you become more aware of inspiration. You also reduce the amount of fear you experience. The problem of living in the past is that you judge your present by the limiting beliefs you adopted in the past. Your vibration has risen since then. You are ready for something different. You are moving towards your desires. If you refer to the past thinking of how things didn't seem to work out for you back then, you miss present opportunities. If you are worried about the future, you might not take the chances you are inspired to take. If you believe that there is a limit to the abundance that the universe will provide, you might play it too safe and let opportunities leave you behind.

The only thing that matters is how you feel in the present moment. When you regret something in the past, you do it now. When you worry about the future, you add that to your vibration right now. How you feel now is the only important thing. You know that time is an illusion. It is all happening now. You might feel older now, but that too is an illusion. You are just moving through time (one dimension after another or one frame of film after another) in order to change your perspective moment by moment. As you age, you change your perspective. Your perspective becomes broader. This is the only purpose of time. As you move through space, you alter your perspective. This is the only purpose for space. Life is an experience of changing perspectives. The purpose of life is to gain new perspectives so that you can better understand certain dynamics and properties of ideas such as love, fear, loss, abundance, etc. The more perspectives you get, the more you expand.

When you focus on the present moment, you move closer to becoming your authentic self. The persona is trying to control the conditions and is always jumping into the past for validation or excuses. The present moment unravels the persona. There is no place to hide in the present moment. There is nothing to control. There may be judgment, but since the moment cannot be altered in any way because it already exists, it must be accepted as it is, which is perfect. The power is in the present moment because how you respond to it determines where you will be in the next moment. Embrace the moment as perfect and you will walk into more moments that you like. Find something wrong with the present moment and you add that to your vibration. The next moment will likely have some of what you do not like mixed in. Purify each moment by accepting it as perfect and focusing on what you appreciate and like in each moment and this will ensure that future moments match what you prefer.

With our love,
We are Joshua
