Arnaud Question #45

Dear Joshua,

I have read your last answer a few times, and it has given me something to chew on over the past couple of days. I am not sure I have grasped all the subtleties of what you were trying to say to me, but I am coming to feel very grateful for these moments of frustration (around abundance or any other subject) that irretrievably lead to increased focus and more clarity.

What I need to do, to become who I truly am, is to become a vibrational match with my desires. And what I need to do to become a vibrational match with my desires, is to focus on the things that please me in the moment, rather than the bits that I feel are missing.

Yesterday, I was inspired to listen to the Joshua Live Call podcast #64 where you gave Genevee an answer that was a perfect match for how I felt (what are the odds?). You were explaining to her that she was halfway between the old approach, which carries momentum into her current life, and the new approach, understanding the meaning and value of being a vibrational match, and that this conflict was causing frustration. And this is exactly how I feel.

However, I do trust that my increasing knowledge of the laws of the universe will help me to do, be, and have what I want and become who I truly am. I understand more and more that my work is internal, and I am learning more and more to detach myself from trying to control the conditions (although, I am sure that I have plenty of progress to make there).

I can see signs that my reality is shifting at the moment. I have been invited for a job interview in two weeks. I know that this is no ordinary job interview, and that I am in a position of power, because my worthiness for the job in question is already acknowledged. So, I take it that this is a reflection that I have increased my vibration and the way I see myself.

If I change job, I don't want it to be a change of conditions to escape things that displease me at my current position. I want it to be a reflection of my new improved vibration, and the set point for yet more expansion.

How do I go about ensuring that this is the case? (focus on all the positive aspects of my current job and the people I work with?) And how do I go about preparing myself ahead of that interview so that I arrive there with the highest possible vibration?

With love,
Arnaud

Dear Arnaud,

Let's begin by discussing the idea of want. You want this and you want that. You want to become the authentic version of you. You want to move to another job, not to change the conditions, but because it is a step forward which reflects your improved vibration. We say, throw out all of your wants. Who cares what you think you want? The only thing that matters is what you truly want.

As you are halfway between the old approach and the new one, you now want to manifest your desires. You want to use what you know about the laws of the universe to make what you want come to life in your reality. In the old approach, it was all about achieving goals and that is fine. However, this caused you to judge the conditions as good or bad. If it looked like things were working out, you would feel good. However, if it looked like things were going awry, you would feel bad. Your life was conditional and based on the reactions to what is. What is is neutral, but when you live by the old approach of fear and control, it appears as if things are either working out or not.

In the new approach to life, you understand that things are always working out for you. That's the first step. You understand that there is no wrong and nothing is bad. You know that the conditions as they are, are perfect. You realize that you and everyone else is also perfect as they are. You now focus on what feels good rather than argue with what feels wrong. What feels wrong can only be perceived as wrong from a limited perspective. Not only do you retain your focus on the bits you like, but you acknowledge that sometimes the conditions trigger limiting beliefs and this makes the conditions feel wrong. This creates the illusion of danger and when you see danger, you feel fear.

The irrational fear is caused by limiting beliefs and it is never real. it is always false. The illusion of danger is not the reality of your life. Your work then is not just to focus on what feels good, it is to purposely become aware of your negative emotion and process your limiting beliefs consciously. As you process one limiting belief after another, you will begin to live life in a more authentic way.

Prepare yourself in all things by not caring what the outcome is and instead allowing it to be whatever. Caring is control. Allowing is love. All the things you truly want come from an aligned state of love and this will always feel good.

With our love,
We are Joshua
