Hi Joshua,
I truly appreciate your words of encouragement. The idea of creating something spectacular and push myself beyond what I feel are my limits now is very, very exciting. When I wake up every morning I try to make it my first thought to remind myself that I am worthy, magnificent and limitless, and that all my power is within me. I wallow in the bliss of the comfy bed with those thoughts before starting my day. I don't necessarily feel the change from one day to the next, but if I look back one month or two months ago I feel like I have evolved a lot.
With this idea of creating something spectacular, I don't want to think too many steps ahead because it would bring up fears and inhibit me but I am wondering whether I should let things unfold naturally or steer them in a specific direction with my focus. For instance, I can't imagine myself doing something spectacular in my current job or even the industry that I am currently in. It is perfect for now because it's a match to the vibration that I am emitting, but if I project myself in the future I imagine myself in a much more creative environment than the one I know currently. I love daydreaming about this but I can't quite "see" yet what something spectacular would look like. Perhaps I can start feeling it, though, or feeling for it, and that's all that matters?
With love,
Arnaud
Dear Arnaud,
You are either efforting or allowing. In efforting, you do things to make something happen. You believe you must take action to get things done and to move yourself toward your goals. There's a problem with this approach. You are not a vibrational match to what you want and so you cannot know where to go or how to get there on your own. By the time you become a vibrational match, you will be aware of what you want and it will manifest into your reality. But when you are not a match to it, you can't really imagine it.
Now, of course, you can make things happen and do things yourself. But from that lower vibrational place, you are simply making guesses to what it is you want, what will fulfill you, and what will make you feel good. This approach has little power behind it. Efforting is based in the fear that unless you do something yourself to make things happen, nothing will ever happen. That could not be further from the truth.
In allowing you are taking action, but not just to make things happen. You take action because you receive the inspiration to do something. This approach is based in love. It is based in the idea that the universe knows what you want via the vibration you are emitting and it works to mold you into the vibrational version of yourself that will become a match to your desire. You are not a match now and so you must be led on a journey to become a match. That journey will encompass experiences that have the potential to alter your beliefs and raise your vibration.
Think of a university education. Prior to your first day of school, you exist in one vibrational state. As you attend classes, meet new friends, enjoy relationships, birth desires, and learn more about yourself, your vibration rises. By the time you graduate, you are a few years older and you've been vibrationally altered by the experience. You are now ready for certain desires to unfold into your reality that you were not ready for just a few years earlier. You might not have noticed the change in vibration from one day to the next, but over the course of a few years, it's rather obvious. In school, you could have gone with the flow and attended classes and completed projects, etc. or you could have struggled with all of it silently wishing you were somewhere else. You might graduate university and then apply for jobs or you might quit halfway through, drop out and start your own business. Either way is fine because it will eventually lead you to where you want to go.
It doesn't matter what you do, but it does matter how you approach it. All you are ever really doing is either learning to see yourself from an improved and elevated perspective, or succumbing to fear and believing that you are unworthy and inadequate. One is an approach that leverages the forces of the universe to create the life you prefer and the other is simply a resistant and controlling approach to life that is based in fear and rubs against the laws of the universe.
In allowing, you trust that as long as you are going with the flow, consciously processing fear, learning to maintain your alignment, and not trying to make things happen, then your reality will shift to match an elevated idea of self. You trust that you cannot really know what you truly want, but that it will unfold as long as you are not rallying against what is. As long as you are appreciating what is and seeing yourself as worthy and good (as often as possible), then things will slowly take shape (or even quickly). Your job is to choose perspectives that feel good and are more empowering so that you are in alignment more and more and more of the time. In alignment, you will receive inspiration. When you are inspired to act, you look just at the step in front of you and you push through fear to take that action. If you do, you will move to the next level. If you do not act, you are not ready and another opportunity will come along.
This is how the universe is designed. It enables you to explore reality as you intended. If you fight against what is, that is not wrong, it's simply ineffective. If you go with the flow in appreciation and love, you'll feel better and the journey will be more enjoyable. That's all.
With our love,
We are Joshua
