Arnaud Question #26

Hi Joshua,

I have just spent two days at a corporate event where internal teams gather to brainstorm ideas, discuss strategies and all manner of business things. A part of me takes pleasure in the human aspect of meeting with colleagues face to face rather than interacting by email all the time, but if I am totally honest I felt completely remote of the whole thing at times and had a strong sense of "I don't belong here" or "this is not what I am meant to do".

I also knew that this was for me and therefore I endeavoured to find a perspective that was empowering and that got me feeling good (or better than complete disengagement). I adopted the stance to admire those people who seemed passionate about what they are doing. But I had to get quite general to feel some sort of satisfaction, with thoughts such as: "I get to spend a couple of days away from the office. I'm getting some nice food and staying in a nice hotel." So, my question is what is the lesson there and how do I get to a stage where I wake up excited about what I'm going to do with my day?

With love,
Arnaud

Dear Arnaud,

You can perceive that you are being forced to do what you would rather not do and in this you are a victim of the conditions. You could also perceive that this scenario is not only created by you, but it is for your specific growth and expansion. You can see that the second option is clearly the more empowering one. But does it have any benefits other than that? Just because you perceive it in a way that is more beneficial, aren't you simply putting lipstick on the pig? Aren't you just finding the silver lining, but not really creating anything? Here's our perspective on that.

You are a creator. You create your own reality by your choice of perspective and perception. You can choose to view everything as right and good and in doing that, you can maintain your alignment and feel good. You could also choose the limited perspective and consider some things to be good and other things to be bad, and so you feel a mix of good and bad. In the first approach, you might believe that you are simply fooling yourself. In the second approach, you might actually be facing the reality of the situation. Now, if both scenarios are true, which would you choose? Would you choose to face the reality and feel some good and some bad, or would you fool yourself into believing that everything is good and feel good as a result? Your answer not only determines the life you will create, but it will actually change your future reality, because in essence, you are choosing one vibration over another.

Because this is a feeling reality and all you are ever doing is feeling something, it makes sense to choose an approach to life that feels good. The approach of allowing is the approach of love and this will naturally feel better than the approach of resistance, reaction and control. Seems pretty obvious, doesn't it? But you have a habit of judgment and you judge every experience and every condition (as well as every person). You especially judge yourself. You think you know how you should be. You realize that if you could just go with the flow of what is happening and really focus in on the positive aspects, you would feel good. When you are not able to do that, you judge yourself as missing something or wrong in some way. You do not take the time to look at yourself from the higher perspective and this causes you to feel negative emotion. However, the negative emotion is a very good thing because it illuminates a limiting belief.

You feel out of place. Let's just back up here. How could you, the creator of your reality, the one who has created these conditions, ever be out of place? In fact, how could you ever be anything other than the center of attention? If you create your own reality, then you reside at the center of your universe and everyone and everything revolves around you. Feeling out of place is not natural. There must be a limiting belief. Instead of turning inward, you look outward, you judge the conditions, the people and yourself and you want it all to be different than it is. That's the old approach. The new approach says "LOOK INSIDE!"

What's the limiting belief that causes you to feel like you don't belong? If you did not have this limiting belief, you would naturally be the center of attention in this meeting. It matters not your position in the company or anything else. That company was literally built to revolve around you. It is necessary for your expansion and growth and that's why it was created. There is no other purpose for its existence. Do you realize this fact? If not for you, this company in its present form would not exist because it would serve no purpose. You are the sole reason it exists. When you do not need it any longer, it will not exist in this form.

The true version of you is the one who is thrilled to be the center of attention in this gathering. The true version of you is the one who engages the forces of the universe to ignite the hearts and minds of all those in attendance. The true version of you would no longer need this company in order to grow and expand. The difference between the true version of you and how you feel while in this event is due to a set of limiting beliefs. You cannot even imagine being the person we tell you you are. That's because your vibration contains the limiting beliefs that bring up fear. Modify those beliefs and you become the authentic version of you, your vibration raises, and you begin to see yourself as we see you. When your vibration raises as a result of analyzing and modifying your limiting beliefs, you will see the version of you that we know to be the true you. You will become very comfortable being the center of attention. You will revel in your role as the center of your universe.

What limits you now? Your limiting beliefs. When they are triggered by your perception of reality, which is the limited one, you feel fear. That fear is the indication of a false belief that is restricting you in some way. Now it is time to expose it and deal with it. Who you really are is one who gets up in front of everyone else and brings forth amazing ideas from the nonphysical. You are the one everyone wants to hang out with and be around. You feel the disparity between the two versions of you and you feel the discomfort so you try to analyze it away through the alteration of the conditions. You fear facing your fears because it means you must exposure yourself to more negative emotion. The only thing you ever fear is the potential for negative emotion. Sounds silly to us, but we can't feel negative emotion the way you can so we will give you the benefit of the "doubt."

You believe in your inadequacy. You believe that is a real thing. You want to wait until you get better, but that is not possible. You are perfect now and it is not possible to get better or to be any more perfect. The only thing that can ever change is how you perceive yourself. If you perceive that you are more able, then your reality will reflect that. If you perceive that you are more good, more confident, more beneficial, etc., your reality will reflect that. Your reality actually forms around your opinion of yourself. How you feel in that reality was caused by how you already feel. You are getting a representation of how you already feel in the reality that forms around you. Therefore, when you feel more powerful, more aligned, and more worthy, your reality must reflect that. How you create you reality has to do with the perspective you choose about yourself. When you feel good about yourself, because you have chosen to look at the conditions that already exist in an empowering way, you create a future reality that is a true reflection of that stance.

All you can ever do is think of yourself in empowering ways. That will be the truth because who you really are is the most interesting, wonderful and important person who has ever lived. If you don't see that now, start figuring out a way to see it, because anything less is simply not true and that's what creates the tension in the conditions.

With our love,
We are Joshua
