Allyson Question #84

Dear Joshua,

I've asked similar questions, and like Astrid, I get stuck. Tonight she posted:

"Can't believe I still fall in the trap of caring about how others judge me - when of course it is my own judgement of me I see reflected in them."

Can you give me a review lesson, please!

Thank you,
Allyson

Dear Allyson,

Judgment is a human idea. There is no judgment in the nonphysical realm. There is really no judgment as you would understand it, in all of nature. You judge from a place of fear. If a lion is in your living room, you must make a judgment. It is part of your survival instinct. You judge whether the lion is hungry or not. It is judgment based in the fear of being eaten and that kind of judgment is ingrained within your human body, so to speak.

Judgment is based in fear. Now, it is up to you to determine if the fear is rational or not. You don't react to judgment based in irrational fear. That would be irrational. If someone looks at you funny, are they going to eat you? Probably not. The fear then is irrational. If it is unlikely that you will die based on whatever is in front of you, then the fear is irrational and it is false. It's not real.

Judgment is fear. Are you going to consciously process your fear so that you can become the authentic version of you, or are you going to be limited by fear? That's the only question that matters as you make your way from fear to love. Are you going to accept yourself as perfect and expanding? Are you going to realize that no one can know you because they can only see you through the filter of their unique vibration? Will you please realize that how one sees you or judges you is based on their own personal fears and doubts. It doesn't have anything to do with you.

You are used to being judged. You have been judged your entire life. You will continue to be judged. Don't ask others not to judge to. Accept that they must judge you. It is not about them, it is only ever about how you choose to feel. Allow them to judge you all they want. It can't possibly matter to you. You can choose to be judged and still be okay. That's your power.

You can only be one of two things. You are either your authentic self or you are a limited version of that person. You are perfect either way. It doesn't matter if you are being fully who you are or not. The difference between your authentic self and who you are right now is how you process your fears. Your authentic self processes fear easily and almost automatically. You process it sometimes and in other occasions, you succumb to it. Your only real work is to get a bit better at processing fear. It becomes easier to process fear when you understand how magnificent you really are.

If you knew the magnificence that is you (and everyone else) you would not judge yourself, you would never judge another, and you would not be bothered by other people's judgment of you. It is only in your perception that you are not good, that you fear judgment. Most of the time you are not even being judged. People are not always thinking about you. People are mostly liking you and feeling good around you. It's just that you are manufacturing their judgment for them.

In the vast majority of those occasions where you perceive that someone is judging you, they are not. You are making it up. You are creating judgment as you perceive it is coming from them. It is not. It is coming from you. It is self-judgment as projected from another person. They have not even said anything, but you perceive it in your reality. Since you have the absolute ability to think any thought you like, when you perceive judgment coming from some other person, it is all your own thoughts. It is self-sabotage. You are your own judge and jury. Why do you (and almost everyone else on earth) do this? Because you perceive yourself as not good, not magnificent, and not whole.

You are whole and good and magnificent. You are Source personified. You are God. You can't be any better than that. There is no room for improvement. All you are ever doing is expanding. As you expand, you either feel good or feel bad. Since this is a feeling reality, your true desire is to feel good. Since you have the ability to think good feeling thoughts, why not feel good by seeing yourself as more magnificent and then make up the story that everyone else sees you as magnificent as well. And when they don't it has nothing to do with you, it is all about them.

With our love,
We are Joshua
