Allyson Question #65

Dear Joshua,

I've just read your response to my update about Sandy and the call and the lesson that nothing was wrong.

As I read it, I felt like I wanted to respond to you in each paragraph...but I won't be doing that at this moment.

My question is ... as I read your response and it totally resonates, make sense, I get it for the most part (as in I understand but maybe have a challenge in the actual Doing of the analysis) -- My chest/stomach/general insides are twisted, not hurting but an uncomfortable tingling -- and I wonder what that is? I often get it when I read your answers or when I'm having a meditation and certain types of thoughts come to mind. It goes hand-in-hand with tears or the welling up of tears.

I'm emotional. I'm sensitive. I get that - but why would I read lovely words of guidance and feel such strong, almost "positive anxiety" (that's all I can think to call it)?

Thank you ever so much, again!
Allyson

Dear Allyson,

Imagine looking at something beautiful and feeling awful? How could that ever occur? Because in the looking at it, you feel fear. Fear that it might be lost, fear that it will never be what you want it to be, etc. The anxiety accompanying a positive thing is fear. What's the fear? It makes no difference. It is simply an indication that a limiting belief exists and it's causing you to choose a perspective that is not aligned with your inner self. Your inner self sees you reading the words and knows that the words come from love, are delivered in love, and are exactly the words you need to hear. You have a different perspective and this causes a slight feeling of anxiety. It is due to some momentum.

Yes, you have a heightened sensitivity towards emotions. You feel emotions stronger. This sensitivity has led you to us. All light-workers are sensitive beings. However, due to this sensitivity, you feel your emotions more strongly and you feel fear more easily. You also succumb to fear much more easily. That's not a bad thing, in fact, it's often helpful. Those who are able to easily push past their fears are often on a path of getting what they think they want and trying to control their conditions. Those people have more difficulty allowing their true desires and intentions to unfold.

Sensitive beings have an easier time allowing, yet when it comes to taking action when inspired, the fear of negative emotion tends to limit what they can do and so these desires intensify. The thing we are trying to help you understand is that the negative emotions are not designed to be painful, just noticeable. You notice your negative and positive emotions. You might be labeled bi-polar, because the negative emotions are so painful and the positive emotions are so joyful. You sometimes feel like a yo-yo. To those around you who do not feel their emotions as fully as you, they think you are strange. But the advantage is having the ability to feel your emotions because they are strong. The disadvantage comes to those who can ignore their emotions. So please try to empathize with them.

You take a limited perspective on some subject, like Sandy, because you have a limiting belief about yourself. The limiting belief causes fear to pop up and the fear creates the illusion of danger. The illusion that you saw was one where you did something wrong. You knew it was an illusion because you couldn't remember doing anything wrong, yet you still believed it. That's how powerful these illusions are. You simply wish you could process fear better and then you think you'd be further along. But that's not how it works. You need to actually practice processing fear and doing that which you are inspired to do.

You were inspired to call Sandy. We tell you that you could have done that had you not felt the fear. The anxiety is that you want to see yourself as more evolved and more courageous and more enlightened and this letter and our answer makes you feel like you're not that far along on your path. However, that is another illusion caused by a limiting belief that you "should" be further along by now. After all these years, you should be better at this. Again, this is a false premise.

You are on a journey. You are a master creator. You are a teacher. You are a lightworker. Your work here is important, but you are still on a unique journey. You need not compare yourself to anyone else to see if you're doing well or not. There are no accurate benchmarks because you cannot know where everyone else is on their journey. What they are doing in this life and how they are being in not an accurate reflection of their path. Many homeless people are far along on their path of self discovery and others are just beginning.

Your path is unique to you. Keep your blinders on and face forwards, never backwards or side to side. You are doing a wonderful job. You are doing your work. You inner self and your millions are all extremely proud of you and you are loved more than you can imagine. Just relax and practice living in a state of nonresistance. Don't worry about your spiritual performance because there are no grades. You're good. That's it. You can't be better than you are right now. All you can do is see how magnificence that you really are. We see that. Now it's your turn.

With our love,
We are Joshua
