Allyson Question #14

Dear Joshua,

I've been traveling and on a whirlwind! When I have a question come up, it goes away when I finally get a chance to write. It's been rather frustrating!

Even now, as I look at notes and think of my experiences the past few days I'm not able to focus on creating a question. What's up with this?

I had an experience last night of being aware of how I was doing a good job at changing the subject when a friend belabored her mother's recent passing and the family drama. I'm working to stay pleasant and allowing with my step-mother and actually I have to say we are getting along better. So when a question comes up - it seems to go away.

Each new encounter I have brings up questions but they disappear! I'm feeling a bit frustrated over it.

I can hear you ... there is nothing wrong with this ... but I feel a sense of guilt in not participating in the Q&A as much as I "should". And I know I have a million questions brewing.

Your thoughts?

Thank you, Allyson

Dear Allyson,

This is a conversation. In a conversation, sometimes you ask questions and sometimes you simply talk about what you're interested in. What interests you? What do you want? What would make you feel exhilarated? You can ask us questions if you want, or you could simply write about your life; what interests you, what you prefer, what you are working on, etc. and we can offer our perspective. The end result of this conversation between us will be your ability to communicate directly with your inner self (or even us) and receive the information you desire immediately.

This is what Gary does now. The moment he thinks of a question, it fades, because he receives the essence of the answer in a flash. He has to consciously mull it over in his mind and focus on maintaining the conversation. This is different from him writing our answers to you or anyone else. When he reads your question, he receives the answer in a flash as your question might apply to something in his life, but when he sits down to translate our thoughts, the answer is completely different because it applies to you specifically.

You are at a high vibrational place and so the answer comes to you in a flash and you receive the essence of the answer and the question disappears. However, if you were to write it down and send it to us, no matter what it is, whether it's a big question or a little one, you will receive a benefit from receiving our perspective. Because it does not linger, you might miss a few key insights. When we send you our answer, you have time to read it and re-read it over and over. At the end of this conversation, you will have dozens of questions and answers and when you read them together in the long form, like a book, you will see how your vibration increased every step of the way and how you moved from one vibrational place to a much higher place. The end result will be a new and higher perspective on your life. From that point, you will see everything differently.

Keep a journal and get comfortable adding to it every day simply by writing down your thoughts. You will notice that things will occur to you when you write your thoughts by hand that are not at the surface of your consciousness. When you sit down to ask a question and you worry about asking the "right" question, you simply remove your access to the question and your attention is focused on the problem of not having a question. The thoughts that are available to you are not aligned with a question, but with the lack of a question and this is frustrating.

The guilt you feel is not necessary. We tell you the rules upfront, but really there are no rules. You can proceed any way that feels good to you. Sometimes we are inspired by the simplest questions to reach for the most profound answers. Anything you ask will be the perfect question. Anything you want to talk about will be the perfect starting point. This is a process of shifting your perspective. Anything we can do to elevate your perspective will be of great benefit and therefore anything you want to talk about allows us the opportunity to reach for the perfect words to move you in the direction of all that you truly desire.

Your life will unfold to reveal all the things you truly desire as long as you allow it. All forms of resistance block the elegant unfolding of your desires. Therefore, our work together is to reduce your resistance. We certainly do not want to be a source of resistance. If you can't think of a question, that is perfect, because it allows us to ask you a question. If you can answer this question, we will move another step further in this conversation and your perspective and vibration will be elevated as a result.

Here's our question: what's the difference between what you think you want and what you truly want?

With our love,
We are Joshua
