Dear Joshua,
I thought I would ask a fun, lighter question... I have been discovering different "channelers" on the Internet and a couple of them have been saying that Aliens are currently reaching out to us at this time to prepare us for an eventual direct communication. What is the probability of this happening in my lifetime? I would like to add that I think this would be very exciting and if you could get me on a list of people to be first in line, I'm up for it :)

Dear Steve,
You are on a very short list of people who are already talking to aliens. You're talking to us. Are we not alien? Do we not come from somewhere else? Why does it feel like we are you and you are us? It's because we are all one.
All people on this planet are one and if some alien would come from another planet, you would feel closer to your fellow man than ever before. You would then realize that you are not different people, of different races, living in different countries. You would know that you are one people. You would think that aliens are different, but they would be one with you as well. We are all one together and are only separated by some illusion that we choose to define.
Man has moved through history becoming closer. In the past, man believed that Earth was the center of the universe, that it was flat, and that people were born with differences that could be identified and separated in many different ways including class, sex, race, etc. As you evolved, you understood that Earth revolves around your sun which was a part of an infinitely large universe, you discovered that Earth was not flat, and you've come to realize that all people are unique and equally worthy.
If you can look at the progression of your belief system, you'll know that people are moving and evolving toward acceptance and love, and away from fear and differences. As you evolve in this way, you can understand that you are not alone. You are part of a larger community. Will you know this now personally? That is up to you. Are there signs all around you that other civilizations exist? That will be for you to realize or not. Is the world ready for an introduction to another civilization? That is not as important as knowing whether you personally are ready for that experience.
Imagine if you were part of an alien race that was advanced enough to reach out to another, less advanced civilization. How would you do it? As the advanced civilization, you already know the mechanism of physical reality and the laws of the universe. You know you cannot create in another's reality. You know that the less evolved civilization must be vibrationally up to speed to accept this encounter. You would also know that their level and depth of perception is quite different than yours. You understand that their perception is unique to them. If you want to introduce yourself, you'll have to bring their perception up to speed. So how would you accomplish this? You would go very slowly and drop little hints.
You would allow yourself to be seen once in a while. You would leave clues here and there. You would slowly engrain yourself into their culture. You would know that these less evolved people are still based in fear and you would have to wait until the fear had subsided. If you suddenly appeared to them, they would respond in a fearful way which would make communication difficult and would disrupt their entire way of life. The time would come when they would be ready. That would be the time when you could ease yourself into their perception without causing a panic.
So we cannot say when that time would come. We can say that, as a mass consciousness, in this time of awakening, you are making great strides toward love and away from fear. You are becoming more and more conscious. You are evolving much faster now. Great change is coming, more so than ever before in your history and with change comes some disruption. As long as you embrace the change and do not resist it, you will receive the benefits of that change. But, if you cling to what was, in a fearful way, the change will seem wrong to you and your resistance will make it seem very uncomfortable. We don't see this happening to you personally, but many will not be ready for the change since it will be different than what they are used to.
As the vibration of the planet rises dramatically, those holding on at lower vibrations and who are unwilling to allow their vibrations to shift will not be able to keep up. The rapid rise in the vibration of your environment is a wonderful thing in the eyes of those who can keep their vibration up to speed with it. But for those who will not allow themselves to go with the flow of what's happening, it will be a very bumpy ride.
There is nothing to fear except your own untrained imagination. Nothing serious is going on here. It's all supposed to be wonderfully exciting and fun. Things are going very well. What you think are problems are simply the jumping off points for wonderful new creations. Whatever comes to you does so in response to the vibration you are offering. If you judge it right and good, no matter how it initially looks, then you're going with the flow. However, when you receive anything into your reality and you condemn it as bad or wrong, because that's how it looks in the moment, then you are simply resisting that which you have asked for and you use this as an excuse to feel bad. Your resistance is what makes you feel bad. Acceptance is the cure to that. So realize that you may not be able to see the good in some things, but by accepting that there is good in there, you ease resistance and allow what you really want to come to you.
