Kyla Question #38

Joshua,

So, I am clearly in the state of allowing today. Not long after I sent you last question about Daniel, he returned to the coffee shop and told me he had quit his job. He sat down by me and we continued our meaningful conversation. Not long after another man, whom I only know as "Jesus", joined us and we proceeded to talk for the next five hours. The topics of conversation covered everything from following our passion to mathematics to Pink Floyd to how to succeed in life.

Looking back at it now, one belief that I didn't know I had that was altered was "men know better than me." Throughout this conversation, with these two intelligent men, I was able to listen to their perspectives, and still speak my own truth with confidence. And it was well received. They may not have agreed with everything I was saying, but they could see where I was coming from, as I did with them.

All in all, it was a good day, time well spent. In the past, I may have worried about what I wasn't getting done, but with my higher perspective, I was able to appreciate the conversation for what it was, and enjoy every moment of it.

I guess there's no real question here, but I am definitely interested in hearing your perspective on the initial conversation, as well as the continuation of it. Thanks as always for your input.

With love,
Kyla

Dear Kyla,

We love to talk about the state of allowing because if all you did was maintain this state, then your experience of life would be that of the receiver of gifts. Could anything be better than that?

There is nothing else you should be doing. When you allow yourself to enter into and remain in the state of allowing, then everything that comes will be an elegant manifestation of your desire or something that will lead to the manifestation of a desire. As long as you have desires, that will be your reason to enter into the state of allowing. Your work is to become a master of allowing so that you can be come a master of receiving.

There's nothing you need to do other than that. There is no other work. When you are in the state of allowing, you could not possibly be more productive. You are not missing anything. When you are inspired to act, act. When you are inspired to listen, listen. When you are inspired to speak, speak. This is all that you need to remember.

Joshua
