Kyla Question #36

Joshua,

In your answer to #34, you said:

"Now you get to see it from the other side. This is a perspective that you are ready to see. You attracted it because it helps reduce the intensity of one of your limiting beliefs about men."

Can you help me identify the specific limiting belief that was diminished in this case? Maybe it doesn't actually matter, since either way it's been reduced in intensity, but I'm still curious as I haven't been able to put my finger on what exactly it was. That my ex was wrong? That men are wrong?

Also, I noticed you said "one of" my limiting beliefs about men. Any hints as to what some others could be? I'm sure there are plenty of manifestation events lined up for me, ready to reveal them, but I'd love to get a jump start and test your theory that I could avoid manifestation events by dealing with the beliefs beforehand. This time around, it's more to see if I can, rather than from a desire to avoid painful emotions. Or is it? Maybe I'm kidding myself there...

Regardless, I've noticed I've begun attracting more thoughts lately around the idea of dating. I'm not ready to get back out there just yet, but figured I'd see what help you can give me so that whenever the time is right I can approach it from a good (or even better) place. If I had to guess at my limiting beliefs I would say:

"I can't be myself around men" -- although maybe this one was reduced in intensity during my conversation with Steve?
"I don't know how to have a healthy relationship with a man."
"Men are incapable of fulfilling my emotional needs."

Am I close? Is this just the tip of the iceberg? Are you guys single? I certainly feel like I can be myself around you and you've more than fulfilled my emotional needs. Just throwing that out there... :)

All kidding aside, I appreciate this interaction more than I could ever express. I feel so very fortunate to be a part of all of this. With love and gratitude,

Kyla

Dear Kyla,

It would not help you if we were to list all of your limiting beliefs. This is about process and practice. There is a process of identifying and reducing the intensity of limiting beliefs. They are uncovered during meditation, through introspection, or through a series of manifestation events. Some of your limiting beliefs would not even be considered to be limiting, you would call them facts. When you are ready to shed them, you will do so, but not before.

The event with Steve allowed you to see a man's frustration with his conditions from another perspective. You can see that he's not wrong, he is simply choosing to look at it from a limited perspective. Once he regains a little clarity, he will see it from a higher perspective. You can see that even as advanced as he is with his knowledge of the laws of the universe, he still gets caught up in the illusion. Now imagine a man who has no knowledge of universal forces. What is this man to do?

Men react to fear in ways that appear wrong. But from their perspective, the actions inspired from low-emotional states of being are designed to make them feel better. Obviously, these action are out of alignment with what they want, but when they come from such a low vibrational place, the urges to take action are very strong. Steve knows better, yet he is unable to control himself. He is a calm and conscious creator, but even he has his limits. Having this conversation allows you to see things from a man's perspective. This will aid you with future relationship. Instead of reacting to their fear with your own fear, you might be able to see things from their perspective, stay calm in the moment, and ease them back to a higher emotional state of being without saying or doing anything yourself which would escalate the situation.

You have birthed a desire for a better relationship in the future. In order to be ready for that relationship and recognize it when it comes, you must undergo a series of manifestation events which ease your limiting beliefs about men in general. This event brought you to a higher place and is one more step in the right direction.

Joshua
