Dear Joshua

It occurred to me today that when I forget your teachings, while during a manifestation event or at other times, that it is because I am on a vibrational level which cannot attract the thoughts which are helpful (rather than just being "forgetful").

Michael, Gary etc were saying it gets easier with practice and to remember to do the work when the occasion arises (about 50 times in a day), but I'm wondering how much that is simply linked to their vibrations being naturally quite high most of the time, and therefore attracting the thoughts more quickly that "this is for me", or "what is the fear" and all is well and working out for me, for them.

This would also go for work, feeling forgetful, feeling like I'm not absorbing the way I could or would like to is because of my beliefs (which I'm working on) which limit the reception of inspiration.

Every time I get an answer from you I can feel a shift and another shift and another shift. It feels good to know that I am moving forward. It also occurred to me that there will always be something to work on. There will always be more. More manifestation events, more contrast, and to make peace with that - it is our purpose. With appreciation

Dear Kate,

You forget our teachings because you have a habit of reaction. When something you perceive as good happens, you react positively, which is good because you are looking at it from a perspective that is in complete alignment with what you want and who you really are. However, when you perceive that something bad has happened, you habitually react by adopting a perspective that the subject of your attention is wrong. This perspective gives rise to negative emotion. This is a manifestation event and the emotion is an indicator that you are looking at the subject in a way that goes against what you want and who you are. It is asking you to change your perspective.

The reason the emotion rises in the first place is because this reality is attractive. Your inner self knows what you want and what you do not want. The universe does not. The universe sees what you are focused on and it brings you more of that. If you are focused on something you do not want, because you think it is wrong or bad, your inner self sends you a message to alert you to what you are doing. Your inner self is asking you to remove your focus on what is unwanted and return it to something wanted. That's all that is happening.

You are right. You view negative emotions and the associated manifestation events as something to be avoided because you are not yet able to handle your negative emotions. You have not been taught that negative emotions are simply messages and there's nothing to fear from them. They will dissipate as soon as you choose a more empowering perspective.

All your life you've encountered negative emotion and you've let it fester until it lowers your emotional state of being. You were never taught the procedure for dealing with your emotions. You were never told to analyze the event to find the fear at the basis of a limiting belief. You were never taught how to chose a higher perspective. Everyone around you told you that the only way to avoid negative emotions was to create a situation where you could control the conditions. But guess what, that approach to life is completely useless. You will never stop encountering manifestation events, and thank God for that.

You came here to expand joyfully through experience. You expand as a result of both positive-feeling manifestation events and negative-feeling manifestation events. You are not to be scared of them, you are to look forward to them. They are the reason you are here. When you face a manifestation event and notice some negative emotion cropping up, just stop and think about it. It's not bad, it's just a message. Think about the message and realize you're just looking a the subject in a way that is unproductive and false. Chose a new perspective, one that brings a feeling of relief, and you'll be over the negative emotion. This certainly takes practice, but it's such a natural part of life that you'll get better and better at it in no time at all. Some things will always be painful. These are your deeply held and highly intense limiting beliefs. They have been with you for a long time and have built up some momentum. However, the same process applies. Just do the work, analyze the fear, find evidence to prove it's false and chose a more empowering perspective. Pretty soon, you'll master the art of analysis and manifestation events will no longer cause you pain.

No matter what your emotional state of being, you can reach for better feeling thoughts. They may be difficult to grasp, but they are there if you will just take it easy on yourself and others. No matter how low you go, better-feeling thoughts are within reach.
