Kate Question #88

Dear Joshua

I think I have a touch of bipolar...

Following all this work stuff and emotions, I have gone from fear to depressed to fear, and now feeling fine! I'm getting on with my colleague. I have a new perspective (thanks to your answer). I'm feeling a lot more accepting, calm and open.

And that is great. It was with your help though.

Left to my own devices, the fear probably would have lasted a lot longer. And maybe that is what I'm the most bothered with in all this. That alone, it can take me a lot longer, if ever, to get a more positive perspective and feel better.

Is that my instant gratification trait raising its head?

Love
Kate

Dear Kate,

Bipolar? Is that what you want to call it? Going from feeling good to negative emotion to feeling good. That's what we call "Guidance."

You feel good and you're on your way to what you want. Remember, the universe must change you into a version of you that matches your desire. It will present you with manifestation events large and small. As you enter one, your beliefs will be attacked. That's the whole point of the event. You must face your fears and come out the other side changed if you are to reach your dreams. If you chose to resist the event and hold onto your fears, that's your choice. If you choose to hold onto the limited and pain inducing perspective a while longer, again, that's your choice. However, if you would like to drop your resentment quickly and get over it. Well, in that case, you've made the choice to release some fear and move toward the physical manifestation of your desires.

You are in a conversation with us and we are discussing ways to reduce the intensity of limiting beliefs and find relief. Then a young, ambitious colleague enters your reality to shake things up. Why has he come? To help you overcome your insecurities, self-doubt and fear. You choose to resist and you call it resentment. You choose to linger in it and feel it fully. You don't like the feeling, but you can't seem to find another perception without our help. Well, this is an education. You are learning. You are being given tools to work with. You are just beginning. This is something that is not mastered overnight. It takes practice and time.

Then, as soon as you find a new perspective (usually after a good night's rest) you feel much better and you call it Bipolar. It's guidance plain and simple. You are a highly sensitive being and you feel emotions more intensely than other people. You feel the pain more which is a very good thing. Most people ignore their negative emotions and therefore their emotions are dulled. They don't get too upset or too elated. They're numb.

Imagine a GPS system in your phone. For you the light is bright, the maps are clear and every word is easy to read. For others, their light is dim, the map is fuzzy and the words are blurred. Their guidance system is of little use to them. Highly sensitive people have very obvious guidance systems. Now use your system.

When you feel negative emotion, realize that you're looking at the subject in a way that doesn't serve you. Whatever's happening is not wrong, it's absolutely right. Find a perspective that makes it right and you'll feel relief. Then you'll be back to feeling high once again.

You've tried to dull your emotions your whole life. They can't be dulled. Learn to appreciate them. They're great. They're the best thing you own in this world. Your emotions are your superpower. Feel the negative emotion and get out quickly. Do stay too long. Don't let momentum build. Don't let negative emotion bring you down. It's not a bad thing, it's just a signal.

You are practicing using your superpowers for the first time. Not even Superman could fly very far on his first try. It takes practice and we are practicing together. You will always have us and you will always have your inner self to guide you. Now that you have reached vibrational alignment with us, there will always be someone to talk to.

We are Joshua
