Kate Question #65

Dear Joshua

You say the feeling comes first, then the thought, then the emotion then the manifestation. What is a feeling? I've used the word interchangeably until now with emotion, but is " feeling" the use of the 5 (6) senses we humans have, and emotion, well, emotion engendered by the thought?

Kate

Dear Kate,

The feeling of something is what you perceive of it. If you want to feel something, you will move toward the manifestation of something in your reality that will match it. Let's say you wanted to feel loved, so you manifested your boyfriend. You want to feel successful, so you manifest commissions. You want to feel secure, so you pay off your debts. You want to feel proud, so you do something to help another. That's the feeling of it and this is a feeling reality. The only thing that really matters is how you feel.

Let's say you feel insecure at work. You will manifest your boss giving you a hard time or saying something that actually makes you feel insecure. The feeling came first; insecurity, and the thoughts of insecurity were the first manifestation. Then the comment your boss made was the physical manifestation of how you were feeling. The emotion you felt when you heard your boss' statement matched how you felt. The emotion caused you to feel the same thing. You felt insecure first and then the manifestation caused you to react in a way that prompted the emotion which matched the feeling.

Now, if you feel good, it stands to reason that you will manifest good-feeling thoughts and then good feeling physical manifestations. The feeling comes first, then the thought, then the manifestation. It all matches how you already feel. Work on feeling good and good-feeling things will come. The reason you want anything is because you think the manifestation of your desire will cause you to feel good. However, you can ignore your reality and simply feel good anyway. The universe responds to how you feel. It yields to you, not the other way around. You believe that you feel good then something happens to make you feel bad. That's not how it works.

You have a choice in how you feel and how you choose to perceive everything. You can feel bad and then perceive that everything happening around you is bad. Or you can feel good and perceive that everything happening around you is good. The better you feel consistently, the better feeling your reality will become.

Choose how you feel in every moment. Choose to feel secure and confident at work. Choose to be loving, patient and accepting with your boyfriend. Choose to be appreciative of your home and city. Choose to be happy and healthy in your body. Choose to see the positive aspects and feel good knowing that well-being is flowing to you. It's your choice. Feel good first and watch as the universe creates a reality that matches how you feel.

You are loved so much more than you can imagine.

Joshua
