Kate Question #55

Dear Joshua,

Before opening your answer, I was cringing a bit at exposing myself in saying what I would dream of as work, lifestyle because it seemed so ... presumptuous (that worthy thing again ;) .... And when I read your answer, I felt glee. Like dancing and singing glee... of course, while I believe all you say, my mind can't wrap around getting from one place to another in an instant without the steps to get there, so thank you for leading me through the steps.... which I imagine, when understood by me, I could take on most any desire, and any new desire that comes up since new ones will always come up.

So what first step could I take to move toward the work/life of my dreams that I am so close to, even if I don't realize (or believe) it? I came up with a few and am looking to your guidance on what would be some of the most efficient (I'll give you my input on what I think - and I guess that is the most important, since I'm the one going with inspiration and learning to lean in - ha ...).

1) Because of my limited beliefs of how I can expand, I would imagine one of the more important and possibly first step would be to intentionally tune in to my emotions as often as possible (when I remember) and work on my limiting beliefs when I identify them (and on any that I can come up with), on a systematic basis, until and when it becomes a habit. Writing them down and seeing where they are false (is a focus wheel similar to this work?)

2) Meditation: The daily practice required by you and Gary is a wonderful obligation which I appreciate (even when I find myself nodding off). I do it in the evening when I have a bit more time and am a bit more awake and in need of relaxation. Maybe I could do this in the morning on awaking, or does it matter and would it change anything?

3) Another step would be to "try" as long as it feels comfortable to act when inspired at work and when not inspired, look for ways to otherwise enjoy or fill in my moments (and when it doesn't feel comfortable, work, if not in the moment, then later, on the limited belief).

4) Another step could be writing 10 things I am grateful for at work and in my life on a daily basis to shift my vibration a bit (although I have done this and things didn't shift much, maybe because I felt it was too much by "rote", even while everyone recommends it).

5) Affirmations/journaling of my dream life.....

I tend to think the two main/new/ most impactful ones would be the systematic working on beliefs whenever possible and meditation.

The work I'm doing with you here is already a powerful move for me and I'm excited to know I have quite a few more months to take this vibration up up up, and I can't thank you and Gary enough!

Kate

Dear Kate,

The universe will provide you with the next step, all you have to do is move into that step fearlessly. You will be given inspiration to act and when you follow this inspiration without fear, the step will be one that simply makes sense at the time. It will be the thing that you not only want to do, but have to do. In order to get into this state of allowing, you must be able to hear your inner voice inspiring you to act. The practice of meditation makes that subtle voice more pronounced.

Meditation is an excellent step. It is a practice and as you practice you tune in to your inside world. It is the inside world which creates your outer illusion of reality. As you get better at slowing or stopping thought, you'll start to tune yourself to the vibration of your inner world. You'll start to feel what you really feel like in your inner world. You'll start to adjust that feeling so that you feel more love and less fear. As you modulate and move your inner feelings toward love and away from fear, after a little while your world will begin to reflect these higher and better feelings.

How you feel is the only thing that really matters. Another process to add in here would be that you demand and expect to feel good. Since your reality will always match how you feel, feeling good should be a priority. When you feel good, you have access to the ideas and thoughts that will help you take the next step. When you feel bad, you have access to thoughts that prevent you from taking the next step. Feeling good is like pushing the accelerator on a car. Feeling bad is like stomping on the brakes.

Don't try to see or even imagine what the next step is, simply follow inspiration as it comes. Inspiration will come several times a day. You must pay attention to your thoughts. You must learn to listen for and immediately follow your inspiration. If you get an idea, research it. If you get a thought of someone, call them. If you feel like turning left down that street to nowhere, take the turn. Keep your eyes open and see what's there. Sometimes you'll see it and sometimes you'll miss it, but keep following inspiration as it comes up.

Fear will keep you from acting when inspired. You will discount ideas as they come up because you fear you don't have the time to research them. You will not call someone when you think of them because you fear it's a bad time. The timing is perfect when you feel inspiration. Inspiration, like intuition, may be very strong and obvious or it may be quite subtle. Listen for the subtle signs of inspiration, release your fear and act anyway. You are being guided to the next step. You can't know what the steps will be because you've never been there before.

You are not only moving to a place that you've never been, you're moving to a place that has never existed before. You are changing into the version of you that is ready for the life you desire. In order to get there, you must become a vibrational match to it. The way you allow the change to occur is to get good at allowing. When you resist, you stall the process. That's what the negative emotion is telling you. You have no map to guide you, but you have a tiny little voice telling you when to move and in what direction. Get good at listening to that voice and jump when it tells you to jump.

You've already taken many steps. You've managed to come into vibrational alignment with us. You moved past your fear and you've engaged in this One on One conversation with us. You started meditating. Now you will become an allower, you'll get good at resolving limiting beliefs, you'll start listening to inspiration, you'll start demanding to feel good, and you'll start following your interests. You'll stop complaining, worrying, obsessing, and trying to coerce the universe in times you feel like the conditions are wrong. You become an allower by acknowledging that it's all right and it's all there to change you into the version of you that's vibrationally tuned to all that you want.

Joshua
