Kate Question #18

Dear Joshua,

When I have been onto certain forums (LOA) or even listened to people in the hotseat so happy clappy alllll the time, sometimes I'm fine and it feels good, but honestly sometimes it grates on my nerves - and I know its envy on my part, and I would like to feel like them etc., but I seem to not get it quite as easily (the teachings, the work) - is it purely focus laziness on my part compared to stronger focus on theirs?

Kate

Dear Kate,

Very few people understand the full and complete information that Abraham is conveying to them while they sit in the hot seat. The enthusiasm you hear is the person wanting so much to understand the information that they show signs that they are understanding while in fact, they are not. When you are on that hot seat, in the presence of infinite intelligence, asking a question that is very important to you, on the stage, in the lights, on camera and in front of hundreds of people, you do not have the capacity to fully digest everything that is being said. You are aware of the problem and you are so fixated on having the problem solved that you can't hear the solution in that moment. It just won't make that much sense to you. But you don't want to look foolish or unappreciative, so you smile and say "Thank you, I understand completely."

The answers are intended to be heard by the audience as much as they are intended to help the one who asks the question. It is far easier for the audience to understand the answer because they are not attached to the question. In the One on One program, where you are asked to ask so many questions in such a short amount of time, you cannot be attached to them all. So you are able to hear our answer. You are also alone in a comfortable setting reading our answers to yourself without the distraction of what other people may think of you. While these answers will go on to teach many people, they are primarily designed to move you along in your personal journey.

This One on One process will gradually give you all the information you need to bring you into alignment with who you really are and all that you really want. This process is transformative and the version of you that will be at the end of this will be quite different from the version that existed at the start. There's nothing for you to do other than do what you're inspired to do, other than follow your interests, other than have fun. That's all there is to it.

Joshua
