Kate Question #118

Dear Joshua,

I was a bit jet lagged Friday apparently - or something .... I have bought a cushion for my back at work (it was explained to me that posture is everything - it helps tension, carpel tunnel, etc.) So I've had this cushion for two days. By the end of Friday, I was feeling nauseous and in pain and was wondering if it could be this whole posture thing, but I should know better, that it is my thoughts. Was it the effect of coming back to work (I didn't get that impression), or was it the tension of two days of work after two amazing weeks of relaxation (well, for the most part - see above).

Kate

Dear Kate,

Your reality is created from the inside out, yet you have the approach to life where you react to the outside conditions and you allow yourself to be influenced by what you observe. Before you left home, your reality reflected how you were feeling and what you were thinking. It is a stable reality because generally you feel the same way and think the same thoughts. When you went on vacation, you instantly reacted to the new surroundings in a way that shifted your vibration. You felt lighter, more free, and you also felt a degree of ease mixed with some excitement. Your expectations were elevated and your limiting beliefs were temporarily suppressed. Your new surrounding affected your vibration and your vibration created the feelings of your new surroundings.

Since you brought your mother with you, you also packed the baggage of that relationship and at times you unpacked it and paraded it around. Had you not thought those old thoughts, your mother would have not been annoying. The annoyance was caused by your own fear. Otherwise you allowed the trip to inspire you and you allowed your vibration to rise. The higher vibration became familiar and you felt good more of the time.

When you came home, you returned to your old thoughts, your old feelings, and your old familiar vibration. The movement from one vibration to another causes dissonance and in this case the experience was conveyed through the feeling of nausea. Nausea is a sick feeling. Your perspective on your present conditions causes you to feel sick. What is this telling you? What is the message here? If you continue to allow your present surrounding to suppress your vibration, you will feel sick. In order to feel well, allow wellbeing to flow.

It is time to appreciate everything you have and start from that place of appreciation so that you enter the state of allowing. You entered the state of allowing (for the most part) while on vacation. Now that you have returned home, you have reentered the state of resistance. You don't like the condition of the city, or your home, or your work, or even your relationships. You want it to change. What you really want to change is your vibration. Raise your vibration through appreciation and your conditions will improve to match your vibration. It is law and cannot be any other way.

You are loved and you are lovely.

Joshua
