Isabelle Question #24

Hi Joshua,

Just to confirm, now that I understand that the two realms are the same, in the nonphysical realm to manifest what you desire you think of the feeling? Is that why you tell us think about the feeling of it and not the idea?

Source wants to give us anything we desire, we just have to yield to Source. We do not focus on the how of it, but rather the desire. This is why you keep telling us focus on what you want. When you give the example you really like chocolate ice cream but you are served mint chocolate chip, you focus on what you like. For example, you can focus on the texture, the chips in the ice cream and next time you will be served chocolate ice cream?

In the workbook you ask us to write what we appreciate. Is this because it gets in more of allowing state? Being grateful makes us feel good?

With Love,
Isabelle

Dear Isabelle,

In the old approach to life, you focus on what you do not like and then you try to create conditions in the fruitless attempt to prevent it from entering your reality ever again. You try to ban things from your reality. However, in an attractive reality such as this, you cannot push anything away.

In the new approach to life, you recognize that everything is attracted by your focus of attention. When something catches your attention, you focus on it in a way that will attract aspects of the subject into your reality. If something catches your attention and you think it's good, you add that to your vibration and your reality contains some of that, which is good. However, if you focus on something and judge it as bad or wrong, you add the badness and wrongness of it to your vibration and your reality is formed with some of that in it. The more intensely you like or dislike something (or think it's good or wrong), the more it becomes part of your reality.

Since you personally focus on what is good most of the time, you mostly live a very good life. Luckily, you have created an approach to life where you naturally focus on the good stuff and you do not concern yourself too much with anything you consider to be wrong. You have a very healthy and empowering way of perceiving your reality and this is evidenced by the wonderful life you have created.

The more you appreciate the good stuff in your life and the more you focus your attention on the good stuff, the more good stuff comes. The more often you consider yourself to be fortunate, the more momentum you build. You create your future through the appreciation (or criticism) of your present. The more grateful you are, the more things you will have in your life to be grateful for. The more you complain, the more things will seem to be wrong.

If you really like chocolate ice cream and you are served mint chocolate chip, you can do two things. You can resent the fact that you didn't get what you wanted or you can be grateful for what you did get. If you are resentful, you will not enjoy the ice cream in the moment. Your present moment will not feel good. If you feel grateful for the ice cream that you did receive and you focus on the aspects you like, like the texture and the chocolate chips, then you will feel good in the moment. It doesn't necessarily mean you will get chocolate ice cream next time, it simply means you have chosen to feel good in this one moment and since there is only the present moment, you have chosen an approach that feels good. It is this approach to life that will help you feel good in future moments and by doing this, you create a reality that feels good in the moment.

You do not really want the chocolate ice cream. You have simply made up this idea that when you get chocolate ice cream you will feel good. It is your excuse to feel good. You can do that no matter what you get. If you can find something to appreciate in everything that you do get, you will live a life where you feel good in every moment. Nothing in physical reality can be better than that.

With our joy for your intensely thought-provoking questions,

We are Joshua
