Arnaud Question #24

Dear Joshua,

I have noticed that it sometimes (well, most of the time) it takes time to get in the flow. There is like a warm up phase between the moment we start an action, and the moment when it feels like universal energies are carrying us. When you go for a run, for instance, it takes a few miles to get into the zone. When you write, it usually takes a bit of time for the ideas to click into place and inspiration to flow. I can think of many situations when I have felt this buffer of time.

What is this "warm up" period, as I call it? Is it momentum? Is it a limiting belief to have that perspective?

And how do we reduce it? Is it dependent on the amount of resistance we hold in relation to the subject we are focusing on?

Thanks in advance for your enlightening ideas.

With love,
Arnaud

Dear Arnaud,

Imagine the state of flow. What is that state? It is the state of connection with your inner self. It is the state of alignment. It is your natural state of being. You wake up from slumber in the flow, however, that doesn't last too long. Why not? Because your first thought is often resistant and you come out of alignment. But that is okay. You can always regain your alignment. Momentum has caused you to attract fear-based thoughts. You can create momentum in the other direction so that you naturally maintain a vibration that attracts love-based thoughts. Isn't it nice to know that with a little focus you can achieve the flow state? It doesn't matter if it takes a bit of time now as long as you are able to achieve that state.

All of your power comes from the state of flow or to be more accurate, the state of alignment. To achieve the state of alignment, simply adjust your perspective on the conditions in front of you so that it equals your inner self's perspective. It's a matter of raising your perspective, which raises your vibration. Think about how you come out of alignment. You think a thought that triggers a limiting belief and produces some fear. The fear might be very small, but if you feel negative emotion, then your perspective has dipped and you are no longer in the state of flow. That's no problem. Simply address the fear, resolve the limiting belief and raise your perspective. In no time at all, you'll build momentum that makes it easier and easier to achieve alignment.

Think of all the people who exist on earth right now. Most of them live in fear. All of them are moving from fear to love. The consciousness of the planet is nearing the point where it crosses the line and resides more in love than in fear. That's because those living in love, living more and more in alignment, have great powers to influence the mass consciousness. No one lives completely in love nor does anyone live completely in fear. All you want to do is live more and more in alignment.

The vast majority of people do not understand the idea behind alignment. They are not aware of the existence of their inner selves. They are not yet aware of the power created from the state of flow and the lack of power derived in the state of fear. You are coming to realize that your inner self is with you at all times and maintains a perspective that if followed, will bring you everything you want. It's not necessary or even possible to maintain the state of alignment 100% of the time. All you really can do is know when you're in it and when you're not. Those times spent out of alignment will become fewer and further between. Your conscious awareness of your emotional state allows you to adjust your focus and enter the flow state more easily. It doesn't matter how long it takes, it only matters that you get there eventually.

With our love,
We are Joshua
