Allyson Question #71

Dear Joshua,

I heard you say something to the effect ... limitless being equals fearless being.

And then I saw a quote from Gary that came from a question:

The idea is to realize who you really are so that you can more effectively process and resolve fear in order to create a less limiting life whereby your true intentions can emerge so that you may receive the benefit of the full experience afforded to you in this life.

So - how does 'who you really are' and fearless and limitless all tie together?

Thank you,
Allyson

Dear Allyson,

Who you really are is who you are in the nonphysical and since fear does not exist in that realm, who you really are is one without fear or is in fact "fearless." Of course, fear is a component of physical reality and it is really not possible for you to be without fear in this reality and so we use the term limitless. So, while fear exists here and you will always feel fear, it need not limit you. Fear is limiting by its very nature. However, you have the ability to process fear and move though it. It need not limit you. If you can move through any fear, then you become limitless.

The result of succumbing to fear is limitation. Since you decide how and why you perceive fear, you alone are responsible for your own limitations. Those who live a limitless existence simply process fear better than those who choose a limited experience of life. Remove your own self-imposed limitations by learning to process and move through all of the irrational fears that plague your very existence on this plane of reality. Fear is part of the fabric or reality, but it is not nearly as powerful as you think it is.

Processing fear is a skill that anyone can develop. You must understand what fear really is. It is the belief that danger exists. If you can understand that there is no danger, that everything is always working out for you, and that everything that comes to you is for you, then you can realize that the danger caused by irrational fear is an illusion. It is not real. You can actually come to see that the fear is not real and you can process it and move through it so that it no longer presents a limitation.

Imagine that you had a fear of flying. That fear would be quite limiting because it would limit you from traveling around the world. You would either have to get over the irrational fear or modify your entire life to live within the constraints of this fear. You might think that the fear of flying is ridiculous, because to you that fear is easily processed. You can see that it is the safest form of travel and the odds of experiencing a plane crash are inconsequential. However, you have your own set of fears that are equally restrictive and you have altered your life to accommodate them. The trick is to discover them and process them.

You have certain desires for things that you want but do not exist in your life now. They do not exist because you have a set of beliefs that are not currently compatible with your desires. If you want to become a vibrational match to your desires, then you must alter your vibration. You alter your vibration by changing your set of beliefs. You have some limiting beliefs that cause you to not be a match to some of your desires. Fear will arise whenever one of these limiting beliefs are triggered. Aha! You've just discovered a limiting belief. The fear can only arise if you have a limiting belief about something that's occurring in your reality. That's why fear is so useful. You can now analyze the belief, prove it's false and diminish its intensity. This is how you process your fears so they do not limit you from living the life you prefer to live.

With our love,
We are Joshua
