Am I taking this analysis stuff too far?
So my sink was dripping - and I asked Rick to fix it. He's good at that and I think he enjoys it. He went to the store and bought the pieces and he worked on it and technically he fixed it.
But he was totally dumbfounded when the handle on the cold water now only works in reverse. The handles don't go forward for on and back for off. The cold water has to go back to on and forward to off. I said a ghost had taken over, but he found no humor. He's confused. But at the time he's telling me about this I'm just hearing it and now that I've gone to brush my teeth - the thing is really wacky!
Nothing TO me .. FOR me? And even this brings up ... what's in it for poor Rick?
So - yes - silly little question.
P.S. Today I've listened to 3 podcasts and 100s of ideas and ah-ha moments and tons of questions. I've just been in awe of what I hear, what makes it into my heart and then I go ...what the heck? All part of the changing and remembering - I know....
To you, the universe works in mysterious ways. From your perspective, it seems like things are sometimes wacky. From our higher perspective, it all makes complete sense and fits within the laws of the universe perfectly, every time. It is a wonderful system and it is interesting to us to see you fooled by the illusion. However, when you become practiced at discovering how an event is happening for you, then you will see through the illusion that physical reality presents to you. You will see things clearly and you will know why things seem to just happen. There are no accidents or coincidences.
Everything is set up to bring you exactly what you need when you need it. So, let's take a look at this manifestation event.
You and Rick have birthed some desires. Your desires are different than Rick's, but that does not matter. From your perspective on this event, you get what you need (or the opportunity to get what you need) and Rick get's his opportunity. The opportunity is to reorganize a certain belief. Sometimes, in events such as this, you will face limiting beliefs and have the opportunity to challenge those beliefs and to understand that they are not true for you. Limiting beliefs limit what can come to you. Other times, you will see things from a new perspective and this will increase the intensity of beneficial beliefs. Everything you have ever received has come because your beliefs were open to it. Those are your beneficial beliefs.
If you believe that something is wrong, or should be different than it is, you have just encountered a limiting belief. It is not wrong for the faucet to break. It is not wrong that it wasn't fixed properly. It is not wrong that Rick couldn't fix it. It is not wrong that he became frustrated. It is not wrong that you allowed it to go unnoticed until you went to brush your teeth. It is all perfectly right. How was it right for you? You got a chance to see Rick take care of things. That's a side of him that you like. When he couldn't fix it, that did not diminish your feelings for him in the least. This is a side of you that you like. All of these feelings supported beneficial beliefs you have about him and you. A very nice manifestation event for you.
He believes himself to be defined by his ability to fix things like this. Certainly, this is not true. It does not make him good just because he can fix things. It doesn't make him less worthy or less valuable if it appears he cannot fix something. He is good and he is loved and none of that is contingent on his abilities as a handyman. It just doesn't matter because he is good and he is loved and these things do not define him. He got a chance to see that it does not matter to you if he isn't able to fix something. He can see that he is not diminished in your eyes. He has the opportunity to alter a very limiting belief.
So everything does happen for a purpose and if you like, you can practice seeing how everything is always working out for you and also for everyone else even if they can't see what is for them. You can always look at a manifestation event and find out how it is working for you. If you can do that, then you will take the opportunities for growth that present themselves and thus you will become a vibrational match to everything you desire.
